Job Qualifications.
If you are a self-motivated, committed educator who takes pride in the quality of your work, consider teaming up with us to help students of all abilities succeed in school. While requirements may vary depending upon the student, we specifically ask that applicants meet the following minimum requirements:
- 4-year undergraduate degree (B.A., B.S.)
- demonstrated teaching ability and subject mastery
- two or more years of direct teaching or tutoring experience
- able to commit to 4 hours a week throughout the 2009-2010 school year
- available weekday afternoons and evenings (weekends a plus)
- reliable means of transportation
- strong teaching or tutoring references
