I am selling my baby. For sale is my singlespeed Fuji road bike. Dimensions - seat tube: 56cm. top tube: 56cm. Standover height is 32 & 1/2 in (floor to center of top tube). It would fit someone 5'11" - 6'1" comfortably. Here are the components:

The gear ratio is 42 - 16. Both chainring and cog are shimano, the ratio works really well for cruising and makes hills a breeze. Central Long Beach to Downtown near Ocean is nothing at all despite the hills any way you take (which I have to face on a regular basis). Sugino ALP crank, 700x23c araya rims, currently running custom Kenda Kampaign red-rimmed tires (which are 700x20c and make the bike a freakin head turner), wellgo pedals, a matching avenir saddle, nitto olympiade drop bars, and I'm running a low-profile shimano suntourn cyclone front brake w/ a bmx style lever (it's compact).

I'm selling the bike because it ended up being a smidge too big for me. I treated it with the utmost care and love, I actually have been kind of putting off selling it just because I like it so much. I bought another bike new (a fixed surly steamroller) a few months ago, which has been my commuter, so I haven't ridden my Fuji in a month or two. It's been sitting in my room, staying clean and beautiful. I fully inspected it today and everything works perfect, tires & tubes are all good, and it's super clean. I probably put about 150 miles on it tops, everything's in great condition. There are minor scratches on the frame, as expected for a classic road bike.

Regarding the Trek:
It was built when Lance Armstrong was still an unknown teenager. A mid-eighties 'Elance' model. I never knew where Trek got that cheesy moniker, but it meant mid-range. It's not aluminum, but Reynolds (not Renolds) 531 manganese moly, which is a nice riding steel. It's single butted, because the 531 in the decal is displayed horizontally. The more expensive double butted frames had the 531 displayed at a 45 degree angle. What else...that's not a Shimano crank, it looks Sakae, & yes, the tubes are from England, but the bike was brazed up in Wisconsin (brass).

I bought it used for $80 bux, and put $40 dollars into it. $15 was for a new heavy-duty tire tube in the front, which is more puncture-proof on curbs and rocks and stuff. it's better than a regular bike tire tube. it was also cleaned, and the gears adjusted to work a little better - because they keep slipping, when going up steep hills - but it still works. It is recommended to replace the gear teeth thingy (about $25) and the deraileur (about $35-75) - depending on what quality you want. put on a new, nicer Shimano setup, and have a great custom mountain bike! or get stock shimano replacement parts, and have a brand new stock bike, for less than the bike cost brand new.
