Job Description:<br>
To help the Program Manager recruit, train, and implement a comprehensive volunteer program for the Hope Gardens Family Center. This would include volunteers for after school tutoring, weekend events, and mentoring with children and their parents. This mentoring coordination would connect each mother at Hope Gardens with a mentor to assist the client in personal and professional development in order to facilitate a smooth transition to independence. Serves also as a liaison with the case management team of the case managers, children/youth director, job developer, and the learning center to implement the mentoring component of the individual treatment plans for each client.<br>
•	Recruit new mentors who will be able to support the vision of Hope Gardens and the Union Rescue Mission, by casting the vision and need for mentoring as part of the overall program.<br>
•	Recruit and organize volunteers that may be needed to oversee any ongoing program and special events that are connected to Hope Gardens<br>
•	Organize volunteers that will be used for afterschool tutoring, weekend events, renovation and upkeep of the facility, and additional opportunities in need of volunteers.<br>
•	Train new mentors to implement the mentoring curriculum that will give the support needed for clients.<br>
•	Screen mentors for their eligibility, as well as train the mentees as to the expectation of the mentoring relationship.<br>

Qualifications:<br>
4-year college degree or equivalent; 2-4 years progressively responsible, related experience; excellent planning, organizing, verbal/written and PC skills.  The ideal candidate would have experience in the area of volunteer development and training. Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Must be able to mange multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in planning, policy design, and spreadsheet analysis is highly desirable. Strong detail orientation.<br>

The British Consulate seeks applicants for the position as Social Secretary on the basis of 30 hours per week. The Social Secretary will be part of a two-person team in the Executive Office of the British Consulate General Los Angeles, the other being the Executive Assistant. They will both work to the Consul General and the Deputy Consul General.<br>

Duties and Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
The Social Secretary will be responsible for the entertaining program of the CG and the DCG. The great majority of this program is conducted at the Consul General’s Residence, and will involve close liaison with the Residence Manager, who leads on event management at the Residence.  Other entertaining may be done at outside locations by either the CG or the DCG, and occasionally at the DCG’s Residence. The BCGLA entertains several thousand people every year. The successful candidate will have excellent social skills and computer skills. Some graphic design aptitude would be welcome.<br>

Specific duties will include:-<br>
<br>
Support and Contact Management<br>
<br>
&#61623; Maintaining and regularly updating the Executive Office database of contacts. The database needs to include full contact details, dietary and other personal details and to record past meetings and attendances at events.<br>
&#61623; Assisting the EA in answering telephone and other inquiries coming into the Executive Office.<br>
&#61623; Covering leave absences for the EA.<br>
&#61623; Working with CG, DCG and BCGLA lead officers as appropriate for each event, draw up invitation lists and invitations, send out invitations and receive and monitor replies. Checking dietary restrictions and any other special requirements (eg security details)<br>
<br>
Event management<br>
<br>
&#61623; Liaison with BCGLA lead officers and/or sponsor organisations as appropriate to establish the scope of planned events.<br>
&#61623; Liase with Residence Manager on Residence events, including timings, and budget.<br>
&#61623; Assist with guest arrival at some Residence receptions<br>
&#61623; Liase with other team leads on arrangements for events elsewhere<br>
&#61623; Liaison as appropriate with sponsoring or beneficiary organisations about invitation lists, publicity etc.<br>
&#61623; Handle budget for Residence and other events, including quotes and invoicing for outside parties (ie when someone other than CG/DCG is paying all of part of the costs), Process expense receipts and claims for CG/Residence and pass to Executive Assistant for entry on ExSpend.<br>
&#61623; Keeping invitation lists, menus, photographs and all other records of events held. All to be easily accessible.<br>

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:<br>
<br>
- A minimum of 1-2 years work experience.  College graduate or equivalent experience <br>
- self starter<br>
- courteous, enthusiastic and professional approach<br>
- composure under pressure<br>
- excellent communication (oral and written) skills<br>
- solid attention to detail<br>
- computer literate<br>

The Frontline Regional Manager oversees the five to eight canvass
offices to ensure that each office achieves its financial and campaign
objectives, planning and executing regional staff trainings, raising

The Frontline program&rsquo;s objective is to increase the
financial strength and political impact of Greenpeace by recruiting

Performance: Ensure that new member and financial goals are achieved
for the region by ensuring that each office achieves the following

As a Jenny Craig Program Director you will meet the needs of existing and potential clients through the professional delivery of the Jenny Craig program; including new program sales, services and support tools. The Program Director is the first contact that a client has with our program's structure, features and benefits. The Program Director is responsible for helping a client reaffirm their decision to lose and successfully maintain their weight through the use of effective coaching and motivation; as well as through the communication of Jenny Craig's values, vision, and mission. We provide regular paid training and we promote from within. Qualified candidates will possess excellent customer service, sales, interpersonal and communication skills to consult with our clients both over the phone and in person. <description><![CDATA[Looking for a studio manager to work the front desk at a beautiful neighborhood Pilates studio. Preferably someone interested in fitness. 35 hours/week, hours are varied, M-Saturdays. Mostly afternoon/evening shifts. Must also be able to work around holidays. (Students looking for part-time work with vacations and summers off need not apply.)<br>

Requirements: <br>
<br>
There are two equally important aspects to this position. <br>
The first being the front desk reception which includes scheduling, communicating information to instructors and clients, customer service, sales, data entry, enforcing studio policies and administrative work, as well as canvassing flyers (2 hours/week – must have car). <br>
<br>
The second being cleaning the studio, including the floors and equipment on a daily basis. <br>
<br>
Applicant must be highly organized, computer literate, able to multi-task and be EXCELLENT with people. Must have superior communication skills. Applicant needs to be calm & friendly and able to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in a sometimes hectic environment. <br>
<br>
We're looking for someone who is interested in keeping the position long term. The studio has a lovely atmosphere and takes pride in the excellence of our instructors and the training we offer. We are looking for someone who also reflects this on the telephone and in interaction with our clientele. <br>
<br>
Applicant must be neat and on-time. <br>
<br>
Benefits: This position also offers free pilates classes as well as considerable discounts on all movement therapies & retail products offered at the studio.<br>
Hours: varied, 35 hours a week.<br>
Compensation: $12.00/hour <br>
