Global Campus Teaching Job is recruiting English teachers for public schools across Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

2010 NATIONAL YOUTH PHYSCIAL ACTIVITY AND NUTRION STUDY (NYPANS)

The Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is conducting a one-time, school-based survey to measure the physical activity and dietary behaviors and behavioral determinants of students in grades 9 through 12. ICF Macro is seeking data collection field staff to work on this important project.

The training will be held in early February and data collection will commence immediately after training and continue for approximately 10-12 weeks, with the possibility of some work continuing into May. If you have an interest in the health behavior of adolescents and can commit yourself full-time, you may wish to apply for a NYPANS data collector position. This is an opportunity to be involved in an important survey on topics of utmost importance to the Nation. If hired, you will work in various locations around the country. You may be on the road for 2 or more weeks at a time without returning home. Some locations may be in your state, while others will be in one or more other states. (Note: the travel requirement is not negotiable.) This position is NOT recommended for students enrolled in spring semester courses that require weekly class attendance nor for those who for other reasons need to go home on a scheduled weekly basis.

ABOUT THE POSITION
CDTech is seeking to employ a part-time Community Organizer to serve as the outreach and community engagement point person that will bring together community residents interested in addressing community development needs in the area. The Community Organizer is intended to engage Vernon Central neighborhood residents in campaigns, activities and projects that will lead to the development of a cadre of resident leaders able to develop strategies that address the community development needs of the area. The Community Organizer will be key in this process because they have the responsibility of building relationships, contacting residents and other stakeholders, connecting with people�s self-interest and assets and finally committing them to take leadership in addressing the key community development issues in Vernon Central. The Community Organizer will work with existing CDTech initiatives, relationships and programs to identify community residents and other stakeholders willing to actively participate. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dynamic, Fun and detail oriented, reliable, self motivated Early Childhood and Beginning Piano/Guitar Instructors needed for Southbay/LA schools. Must be able to work with young children ages 2 and up and teach group piano for children ages 4 and up. Need a minimum of 3 afternoons/evenings per week (Prefer Tue, Wed, Thurs) and some mornings. Has the possibility of becoming full-time very quickly if you wanted it too. Training in December and official position starts in January. This is company where there is potential growth for the right person. If you play guitar, violin, voice experience or another instrument this is a definite plus!!! Must have car (Prefer larger) and proof of insurance and be able to be ran through the criminal justice system. Must also be able to lift 50 lbs. There is lifting of instruments required in this postion and it is a mobile position where you would drive from site to site.
