This is a fun, liberating, empowering and sexy workout! Isabelle and/or Angela, will teach you how to do it all! and... as a fitness expert, she will show you how to modify the exercises to each of your fitness levels (strength-flexibility) needs.
We start the class with a nice relaxing warm up, in which we learn all the moves that strippers do on the floor when they dismount the pole. This part of the class is very well formatted as a warm up because we do intersperse movements that both require strength and flexibility..while you learn a part of your dancing routine. Then we learn how to walk in fabulous high heels and we start the actual routine using the ballet bar,
then we go to the moves against the wall and then we gear toward the pole and the tricks! Here with the pole you will learn a few simple tricks.
For those that feel so compelled...we can choose to also learn the art of giving our significant other a lap dance as part of your routine. The lap dancing is completely optional and we usually end up with two groups. One that includes the lap dance and the other that chooses to just practice the "routine". Everybody happy in their comfort zone!

The acclaimed USC Opera Program presents four performances of Benjamin Britten’s comedic gem Albert Herring, conducted by Brent McMunn and directed by Ken Cazan, Thursday, November 19 through Sunday, November 22, 2009, at USC’s Bing Theatre. The production features members of USC Thornton Opera Program and the USC Thornton Chamber Orchestra.
Britten’s comedic gem, set in the 1919 post-World War I British countryside, is an affectionate study of what
happens when social mores meet post war deprivation. Unable to find a virgin to be the town’s May Queen, Albert Herring, a shy greengrocer, is chosen as King of the May. When he is slipped a mickey, Albert goes on a tear and discovers what life is all about. The libretto, by Eric Crozier, is based on the story Le Rosier de Madame Husson by Guy de Maupassant. Premiered in 1947, the opera is a companion piece for Britten’s opera The Rape of Lucretia.

The word "mandala" comes from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit and simply translates to "circle." Cultures around the world have used mandalas since the beginning of time for meditation, healing and as C.G. Jung believed, to connect to the unconscious.
In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to create an original mandala drawing using colored pencils and different paper. I will introduce techniques and themes to approach your drawing, and I will discuss how mandalas can aid in healing, meditation and relaxation. Week one: Begin to journey into your relationship to yourself. How do you nourish yourself emotionally, physically, and spiritually?
Week two: Begin to discover your Relationship to others (partners, family, friends). How do you relate to others in your life? How do you expand and sustain your relationships and their growth?
Week three: Begin to explore your relationship to your larger community and the world around you. How do you engage? How will a deeper connection to the global community affect your life in a positive and meaningful way?
