Our industry has been hit hard by this nasty recession, frozen credit markets, burst housing bubble, and world-wide economic malaise. There are many unemployed architects in the LA area, and virtually no jobs.

You are probably starting to think: “Are there architecture jobs elsewhere in the country? Are the recent 'positive economic indicators' going to lead to a quick recovery in the field of architecture? Could I get a teaching job somewhere? Should I abandon architecture in favor of another career?? I just want to work!!!”

We are all in the same boat. So let’s get together and discuss the current plight of our industry over a refreshing beverage at O'Briens Irish Pub (2226 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica) on Tuesday, Oct 20, 8:00pm. Unemployed architects, unite!
