A local employee association is looking for a DJ to perform at their annual Christmas party. Below are the details of the event.

Date of Event is December 12, 2009

The dj should be set up and ready to start by 6 PM.
The event will end at 11:00 PM

Between 6 PM to 7 PM - music should be social / non dancing type such as holiday music, jazz, slow jams, R & B during dinner time. (Kinda like music from Kost 103.5 FM and The Wave 94.7 FM)
Between 7 PM to 7:30 the association will be presenting awards and making presentation. Wireless mic required.
At about 7:30 pm the casino table will be open for use and music should be a little up beat.
Between 8 PM to 10:30 PM dancing music such as 80's, pop, disco, funk, hi-energy, new wave / kroq flashback, old school, a little hip hop. No rap or vulgar language in music or sex / bump and grind etc.... Just dancing music.
From 10:30 to 11:00 - association member will use the mic to announce raffle and make final remarks to employees.

This is the first time they are using a dj in over 6 years and if it works out they host annual events for the employee which could lead to more gigs.

The pay is $240.00

DJ Lighting and wireless mic is needed along with your equipment. Laptop DJ, record and CD djs welcome. Just be able to blend and mix your music. No scratching or MC required. No fog machine allowed in venue. The venue is at a golf country club which has a decent banquet room so sound should be able to be heard throughout room. No subwoffer or bass boxes etc.. needed. Just basic equipment to provide a decent sound.

The association is operating on a small budget and trying to keep cost to continue this event unlike other companies who had to cancel thiers. Canceling our would not help the economy and past event normally paid more ehn times were better. So submit website link, myspace link, demo and references to other companies you have dj for. We are looking to book someone this week.
