Senior Accountant (Azusa, CA)

We are one of the world's largest producers of container grown plants based in Azusa, CA. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual to be our Senior Accountant. Responsibilities will include:
Management of the month-end close process including account reconciliations and financial analysis.
Preparation of financial statements and reports for management.
Enforcement of internal controls and adherence to GAAP accounting policies and procedures. The individual is expected to be an effective communicator and be able to independently interact with all levels of management.
Banking compliance, reporting and all other treasury activities.
Management of external audits.
Improvement of current processes and implementing new ones.
Assisting in budgeting and forecasting.
Assisting in inventory, costing and margin analysis.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Accounting. A CPA is preferred.
At least 5 years of solid work experience in a manufacturing environment. Costing experience is a plus.
JD Edwards or other major ERP experience.
High proficiency in Excel, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
