I have been a passionate martial artist ever since the first time I started training 20+ years ago. That passion grew exponentially when I started teaching Taekwondo in the dojang 10 years ago. When I moved from Iowa to SoCal back in 2006 I found that I missed teaching and training people. I missed seeing the excitement someone got when they tackled a new technique, and the joy they got out of improving themselves through hard work and exercise. Because of this drive and desire to see myself and others succeed I started teaching cardio kickboxing or more of what I call fitness kickboxing. I have taken the kicks and techniques I know as a 3rd degree black belt, added some punches from boxing with a helping of traditional strength training ( push ups, tricep dips, etc. ) and a dash of focus mitt training to combat stress to create not only a well rounded full body workout, but a workout that is fun and ever evolving!
Martial arts truly are one of the most satisfying and a exciting ways to improve your health, both mentally and physically. If you choose to do personal kickboxing training with me I can assure you that your confidence, coordination, strength and cardio health will improve. Added benefits include increased flexibility, while learning basic self defense techniques. Because I teach private sessions (or small groups) I am able to focus on You and want you want to achieve. Classes can be tailored to your needs and wants, no two classes are exactly identical which makes your time spent with me fun, challenging and exciting.
I conduct workouts in parks in the Hollywood (WeHo, etc.) area. Working outdoors gives you the benefit of fresh air, while stimulating your senses which can be hard to find in a stuffy gym. One on one or small group sizes are key to an excellent workout because they allow for more individual attention to each student. Classes are very reasonably priced. You can get personal training in something fun and effective from someone who cares about your success. Great referrals from former and current clients available upon request.
