Ophthalmology tech needed two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) to work in sophiscated Beverly Hills practice. Performs a wide range of specialized diagnostic examinations and advanced clinical ophthalmology duties. Takes patients´ medical histories, administers eye medications, and exercising considerable clinical technical judgement. The work of the position requires expertise in visual fields and color vision, tonometry, contact lenses, low vision blindness testing, ocular disease, intraocular lens power computation. Need to be able to use GDX, IOL Master, and autorefractor as well.
