Property management company in Los Angeles has an opening for an experienced Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Human Resources Generalist. The candidate must be knowledgeable in the area of employee relations, legal compliance changes, current trends in human resources management etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Write and place employment opportunity ads, review resumes, conduct interviews, manage legal compliance, drug test, background checks, etc.
*Understand and administer all legal compliance and changes with respect to existing personnel and communicate this effectively.
*Leads the Company’s compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal reporting requirements, including FMLA, OSHA, EEO accordingly.
* Files WC Claims
*Maintain and update all employee personnel files
*Manage employee time off requests.
*Communicates regularly with department upper management regarding employee issues that may arise.
*Prepares employees’ warning notices, separation notices and related documentation.
• BA/BS in HR required or equivalent
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be flexible and have a positive attitude
• Team player

- Compensation: 36,000 to 42,000 DOE Plus Benefits
