LOST TABBY CAT (male)

My cat "Maximum" is a grey & black tabby (shorthair) with green eyes. He is MALE (neutered), 8 years old and weighing 15 lbs when lost. He has NO white markings and is NOT FLUFFY. His markings are distinct and look more like spots than like stripes.
His most unique feature is that he has a TATTOO inside his ear.
He was also wearing red collar and name-tag (with address /phone)when lost... the collar may or may not still be on him.
Max's personality is a very friendly, out-going, & inquisitive, under normal circumstances. He's talkative, with a "soprano" voice and loud meow. Answers to "Pic-pic" or "Max".
Maximum was last seen on Sunday July 8 near Sunset Blvd & La Cienega, in the West Hollywood area. This not my cat's territory (we're from out of town, visiting my family) and he was never supposed to be let outside at night, so he is terribly terribly lost and unable to find his way back. There have been sightings, and we are still ACTIVELY SEARCHING. It is very possible that someone took him in as a stray -- if so, we would like them to come forward and return Max to us (no questions asked!)
Maybe YOU have seen him! Please call 323 656-5614 if you've seen him anywhere. All clues to his whereabouts are welcome. Don't hesitate to call even if you are a long distance away --animals often end up far away because people pick them up as strays but then take them to the wrong place. Call me EVEN IF IT'S A LONG SHOT.
There's a BIG REWARD for the safe return of this cat... PLEASE HELP US HAVE A HAPPY ENDING!
