California Bankruptcy Group seeking experienced full time Bankruptcy paralegal/legal assistant with a "can do" positive attitude to prepare, file and follow-up with Chapter 7 & 13 bankruptcy cases.
Openings in San Diego and Riverside offices.
BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED.
PARALEGAL CERTIFICATE AND/OR COLLEGE DEGREE PREFERRED
Minimum 1 year experience in Bankruptcy.
Seeking only those who have passion for the work, are motivated to excel and for a dedicated long term commitment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and draft the required documents for the filing and management of the case
Prepare and file consumer bankruptcies (Chapters 7 and 13) from beginning to end
Prepare and file motions and responses
Manage your own docket and ensure that all due dates and diligence are met in a timely manner.
Minimum one year experience required with:
Best Case software
ECF, Pacer, Court and Trustee websites
Timematters software experience helpful
Skill and Abilities:
Work professionally, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others.
Excellent organization skills, detail oriented, able to multitask effectively
Take initiative to ensure completion of projects and effectively prioritize work flow
Able to handle a large case load in a fast-paced, productive team-oriented environment
