Ace Gallery, an internationally-recognized art gallery specializing in art from the 1960's to the present, is seeking a highly motivated, educated and organized individual to work in a full time position in our Image Department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
o Photographing artworks and installations of artworks
o Assisting in the design of posters and gallery promotional materials, printed and web-based
o Scanning, retouching, and color-correcting
o Assisting in management and maintenance of digital and film image filing systems
o Digital and film archiving
o Setting up our own in-house Publishing Department
o Developing video documentaries
Requirements:
o BA in Photography (or equivalent experience)
o Must have all equipment: 4x5 format film and non-print
o 3-5 years related work experience
o Knowledge of contemporary art desired
o High reasoning ability
o Very organized and meticulous
o Expert in Photoshop
o Must have critical eye and attention to detail
o Proficiency with Mac computer
o Must be punctual
o Web design experience a plus
