You can save money on a drummer by having any guy come record, than edit his beats to death, but the fact is...your spending just as much money - if not more - with your time/studio time, spending hours upon hours making him/her sound like a solid drummer. Why not get a solid drummer who will not only keep your editing to a minimum, but will provide the feel and life that beat detective destroys? Hi, my name is Mike.
My rates are reasonable. I'm not josh freese, so i don't expect much. I just love drumming, providing direction with my beats, and getting the most out of a song. I play for the song, I play with feel, and most importantly, will save your producer/engineer time and money with minimal editing if any at all.
Any styles welcome, I just finished an r&b album, followed that up with a prog-rock ep the following week. I love it all. Again, rates are very reasonable and will vary to work within your budget.
