RecCenter Studio is a 6500 square ft. photo studio, loft, and event space on Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park. Originally the bowling alley in the historic Jensen's Recreation Center building, it has been remodeled as a multi-purpose space that is ideal for photo and film shoots as well as art shows, parties, and corporate events. It has 20' ceilings, skylights, a 10'x10' rollup door, and lots of parking directly outside. The floors are plywood, and can be zipped into or easily replaced. We have 200 amps of house power, bathrooms, a full kitchen, two mezzanines, and separate hair/makeup and wardrobe rooms. With permits from the city, it is possible to create an outdoor extension of the space outside the rollup door or set up loading/valet areas on Logan St. Our location is very close to Downtown and immediately accessible from 3 freeways.
