This is a very unique vehicle. In its former life, it was actually a red truck, made by GM at a Michigan plant and converted by an independent contractor into an ambulance for the city of Virginia Beach. After 40,000 miles with the city as an ambulance, I'm told they auctioned it off. It was one of 500 other hi-top suburbans like it (I think GM only made about 500, but I don't know for sure). I'm sure the city did the dealer-scheduled maintenance. She is a big beast of a truck, and great for lake trips and camping in hard to reach places. It has many features, including * Fulltime 4X4 option. This means you can shift into 4WD without physically locking the front hubs. * She is a V8 1/2 ton truck with a beefy 400 cu.in. (6.6 Liters)motor. * she comes with a locking tow hitch and trailer hookup, with a max trailer weight of 8,000 Lbs. She'll tow anything, basically. *Full Tuff-Country lift kit. 2004 Wildcat camper, 28ft with living room, dining room slideout in excellent condition. It has only been used a handful of times, everything is like new. This trailer features a queen size bed in the front, sofa that makes a full size bed, and dining area that will convert to a twin. Large kitchen with gas range and refrigerator with seperate freezer on top. Fridge can run on either gas or electric. The kitchen also features a removeable table. Their is a large bathroom with shower with large raised lip. Storage is everywhere, from cabinets to under the bed and benchs. This trailer has always been hooked up to electricity even when not in use, and has been sprayed yearly for pests, of which there have never been any. There is a large awning. This trailer is an exceptional find that must be seen!

Volvo Penta AQ170 and AQ280 Parts (Ventura, CA)

I have 2 complete Volvo Penta AQ170 engines and AQ280 outdrives that I am parting out. I tried to sell them complete, but I think that it's better parting. This means I have some extremely hard to find items for all the guys who still run these type of engines. You know how hard it is to find good exhaust manifolds? Well, I have 2 of them. One came off of a FRESH WATER engine I bought and shipped out here from Michigan and it is PRISTINE!! No saltwater damage AT ALL on this one. The other one I have run out here in Calif. for many years. It shows some signs of outer surface corrosion, however, it was running just fine on the stbd. engine. There are 2 CAST IRON EXHAUST ELBOWS.....the 5 hole type. Also, I have 2 complete CYLINDER HEADS, both have been rebuilt. The fresher of the 2 has been magnafluxed, with no flaws, and had hardened valve seats installed for UNLEADED GAS. It had, of course, the guides knurled and new valve seals. Those of you who are familiar with the B-30 heads know that it is very common for there to be a crack between the valve seats. These heads have NO CRACKS AT ALL. The other head was rebuilt before I bought the engine from Michigan and I was told that it was completely redone similar to the first. There are 2 complete shortblocks. One is .030" over on the bore, the other appears to be standard bore. After running them in salt water, it is common for the #1 cylinder wall to thin out due to block corrosion and become a problem for head gasket to get a good seal on. I've seen them as thin as @3/16th of an inch! These are in the 5/16ths or more range. I had no head gasket issues at all. The .030" over engine has the 8 bolt crankshaft while the other has 6 bolts. Not sure, but I think one is an "A" engine and the other a "B". Maybe someone could help me out! Next, I have 2 complete ignition systems. Both have the Pertronix BREAKERLESS ignition on them. One is the small distributor, the other the large model. Both are Bosch Volvo Penta parts. They include a Pertronix H.O. FLAMETHROWER coil,IGNITION HARNESS AND NICE SILICONE PLUG WIRES WITH 90* PLUG BOOTS. They are centrifugal advance models so, no vacuum necessary. There are 2 complete VALVE TRAINS including rocker arm assemblies, mechanical lifters, and good, straight pushrods. The camshafts are avasilable, but right now, they are still in the shortblocks. All of the various brackets are available as well as many of the copper water tubes. There are 2 complete RAW WATER PUMPS, both with very recent impellers. 2 complete OIL COOLERS. You guys know how scarce these are becoming! 2 FLYWHEEL CASINGS, one with a BRAND NEW shaft bearing and seal. 2 NICE CIRCULATION WATER PUMPS. 2 SEV MARSHALL marine alternators, with internal regulators. There are also 2 COMPLETE AQ280 drives with ALL THE EXTERNAL parts that go on the drive. Shifter covers, REVERSE latches, and boots. Both of them have NEW DRIVE SHAFTS. They are 1 number different on the serial numbers. I believe they are 1.97 ratio drives. The 2 transom shields are currently on e-Bay.I have 2 BRAND NEW VOLVO-PENTA LONG HUB PROPS. These have seen EXACTLY 1 hour in the water. I have a left and right rotation. There are FLYWHEELS, FKEX PLATES, MOTOR MOUNTS, VALVE COVERS, All of the external COOLING SYSTEM Iron and many of the copper parts, external sheet metal parts, and a whole slew of extra parts like brackets, gaskets, another small-top Bosch distributor, just a ton of stuff for these motors. I am open to any REASONABLE OFFER for any or all of what I have. I will ship these items with the buyer paying the shipping, or you can come to Ventura and pick them up.
