Our Wine Advisors promote wine & spirits in high volume retail and club stores i.e. Costco etc. We are adding staff throughout all of Southern California, specifically in the Los Angeles area. You must be available most weekends for 5 hr. shifts and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes to a shift location and have own transportation. We represent a wide array of national brand wine & spirit companies; we provide training and tasting opportunities to our employees. Your existing wine knowledge and a sales background is helpful - though not absolutely necessary with enthusiasm and willingness to learn. You should feel comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversations. Our Advisors dress in a professional manner. Starting pay is $12.00 - $14.00 per hour (depending on your experience and availability) for a 5 hour shift. Typical work environment is in the wine department at Costco stores. Promotions also occur at other high volume retail locations. This is continuing part-time employment, year-round, but not necessarily every week. If you enjoy wine and people this is great weekend work!
