O’Melveny & Myers LLP, a global law firm with 14 offices worldwide, has an immediate opening for a User Support Analyst in our Los Angeles office. This position is responsible for providing hands on desktop support in a large office environment.
Minimum of 5 years software experience in a team oriented IT structure. Responsibilities include but not limited to providing second level support on escalated issues from the Help Desk, ability to escalate problems to the appropriate Analysts, Programmers, Operations or Engineers when necessary, assisting with information gathering and problem solving of escalated hardware support issues. Experience with HP/Compaq/Lenovo (IBM-ThinkPad) desktops/laptops/servers, HP and Xerox printers, installing, moving and configuring computer and telephone hardware is preferred.
Must have advanced knowledge of and experience troubleshooting MS Office Suite, Windows 2000/XP in a wired/wireless network environment, Active Directory, DOCS Open, Elite, Internet, intranet, telephone, voicemail/Cisco Systems/Cisco IP Phones, Blackberry Manager, email, proprietary applications and setting up videoconferences. Knowledge of Microsoft SMS 2003, Citrix Metaframe, Terminal Services, Nortel Contivity client, iPass, other Remote Access technologies and Help Desk software. Symantec and other personal firewall software experience.

- Able to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
- Some travel required
