Are you ready to pitch?
PitchQ.com is looking for writers with the ability to write over-the-top comedies with extraordinary characters. The characters should be borderline ridiculous and over the top, but we should accept their larger than life personalities with a plausible conflict. The dialogue should be quotable and memorable.
The Hangover, Taladega Nights, I Love You Man, The Proposal
Over the top characters
Larger than life scenes or locations
Memorable dialogue
Situations that push the moral envelope
Friendship and a touch of heart
Must be finished and registered with the WGA or Library of Congress, ready to pitch with a mid-Low to Mid Budget of 5M - 12M
If your screenwriting abilities and screenplay meets the above criteria, email your name, address and phone number with the logline and synopsis in the body of the email and a brief description of writing history. The logline should be one to two sentences. The synopsis should be one paragraph- two at the most, and the mini bio should be one paragraph. Please place "Chuckles" at the top of your letter/and in subject line, so that we know that you have read the requirements and that you are not spam.

Please let us know if you might be able to meet and Pitch one of your screenplays Saturday the 5th of December in Hollywood between 10AM and 6PM. (Not in Hollywood? - Out of towners, please see paragraph at bottom of this post.) Otherwise, place the date/time in the subject line of your reply- the time that works best for you and be aware that we may change it to be earlier or later by up to one hour. So, your reply should have (SAMPLE) "Chuckles" Sat. DEC 5th 1:15PM in the subject line. Those who follow directions will be given priority.
We at PitchQ.com are seeking a screenwriter of Comedic screenplays for clients. The screenwriting abilities must meet the above criteria, and you will need to be able to pitch a screenplay on video for the client to view. We record the pitch and post it for them to see. This is totally free to you, as we meet the needs of our clients and find the right screenwriter and screenplay for the job. Please be sure that your screenwriting sample is finished and is ready to be shown. Again, this is free.
