McMurray Stern, a twenty-nine year old company, engaged in the sale and installation of storage equipment has an immediate opening in its accounting team.
A qualified candidate must have:
• An Associate’s Degree in accounting
• At least two years of recent work experience in accounting, finance and/or financial auditing with emphasis on analysis of financial data
• Highly proficient in Quickbooks, Excel and other Microsoft Office software
• Possess organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, to communicate effectively and to work as a team member.
Qualifications which are beneficial but not mandatory:
• Construction industry knowledge
• General Ledger experience
This position involves accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general ledger transactions and duties. Participation in preparing financial statements, audits, special projects and problem solving are other important aspects of the position.
