CQR / PLOW Type Anchor 45 Pounds - Galvanized Made in USA - $195 (Downtown Long Beach)
This is a galvanized 45 pound CQR plow type anchor manufactured by DANFORTH (see shank photo). This anchor is in great condition. The photo shows a little of Catalina on the fluke, this is not rust or corrosion.
This anchor is made in the US, not China like most of the CQR type anchors that you find on ebay and elsewhere. The shank says DANFORTH 45-P U.S.A.
This anchor works great. I'm only selling because I'm upgrading to a higher weight.
Definitely one of the best anchors around the stockless plow does wonders in mud or sand. The plow anchor generally penetrates better into weeds and grasses, it resets easily and the hinge allows about 75° of sideways motion (each side).

Age: I don't know. It came with the boat but I don't think the previous owner ever used it. I've anchored with it about 12 times. This anchor is in very good condition. Age shouldn't be an issue as it has seen very little use.
