This 27' Carver "Santego" has a beautifully finished custom interior with
teak and holly sole in the salon.
Economical twin 4 cyl. engines. They show LOW hours with reported
substantial work done recently. Been sitting + 6 months. May need new
batteries. Starter(s) could be stuck, or there may be more to do.....
Surveyed (8/07) and found to be structurally sound throughout. Newer bimini
and canvas.
Boat appears to be sound. Both engines started and ran when last hauled out
11/07. We have NO more information on mechanical condition or structural
details.
All information is reported by former owner and/or surveyors. She's out of
the water and available in Wilmington for inspection during the yard's
business hours.
Previous out of state owner neglected to have the outdrives serviced and
maintained. Salt water corrosion is apparent, as shown in pictures.
Outdrives may need rebuilding due to corrosion.
An affordable and fun "big" family boat. RECENT substantial upgrades
including major engine work. Economical twin low-hour 4 cyl MerCruiser's and
matched I/O's for 20-22 mph cruise and top end is around 35. Very nice
galley with hot & cold pressure water, refrigerator, and electric/alcohol
stove.
Sleeps 6 in three areas: Double berth forward, convertible dinette and a
private double aft of the salon. Her exterior gelcoat should buff out well.
There's a large cockpit area for fishing, with walk-through transom.
AM/FM/CD player plays to speakers on bridge and the cabin interior.
Bridge is set up nicely with helm seat and L shaped seating, and
upholstery's in good shape.
Surveyed last fall 07,and reportedly found to be in good structural
condition. Evidence of spider or ? droppings observed inside cabin last
week. Bring some CASH for us and "Raid" for the critters.
