Breath to Bliss with Suraji

Breath Yoga. In the west when we hear or talk about Yoga, it is normally Hatha Yoga which includes postures and pranayamas. Breath Yoga techniques are tools to bring body, mind, nerves, consciousness and inner self into harmony. At subtle levels it balances flow of prana( life force/energy) in the Chakras (energy centers) for achieving elevated awareness. Breath yoga is a powerful breathing technique which is relatively new to west as compared to traditional postures and pranayama techniques.

Happiness, sorrow or pain affects our pattern and rhythm of breathing. Conversely when we control and regulate our breath, we control our emotional state. This is the simple key to understand the concept of BreathYoga. It helps in achieving a balanced and calm state of mind. Ultimately higher state of consciousness is achieved.

Short brief on Instructor.

Suraji has been vigorously practicing and teaching Breath Yoga in India, Canada and USA. Most recently he taught at Fitness Oasis , Imperial, CA and earlier taught at Desert Rose spiritual retreat, Eloy, AZ . He also regularly gives private sessions. Last year he presented his techniques of breath yoga and meditation at the 7th ACR (Association of Conflict Resolution) Conference in Oct 2007 at Phoenix with Prof. Nancy Erbe and Dorit Cypis. He welcomes all to join him to experience the Bliss.
