ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with corporate purchasing in vendor and contract negotiations with a focus on maximizing company resources and cost savings.
- Plan and execute both large and small scale meetings that are held onsite and offsite.
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization with a focus on providing "Service Excellence" and building of relationships with teammates at all levels.
- Management of the day to day activities of the team, including the front desk, mail room , security guards.
- Respond and correct building maintenance issues.
- Special projects as assigned by the Director and executive leadership.
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the building Safety and all workers' compensation claims.
- Review and approve invoices/vendor billings.
- Ensure that all office equipment is functional and in good working order at all times
- Oversee all office space planning and build outs
- Manage the time and attendance of direct reports
- Responsible for managing any building problems on a 24/7 basis as they they occur
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess strong communication, written and organizational skills
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
- Minimum of 3 years building management for large business offices, experience with 100+ teammate facilities
- Multi-site experience is preferred
- Ability to review vendor contracts and interpret
- Must be creative and willing to think out of the box
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Proven track record of controlling budgetary spending and building relationships with vendors
- Must possess effective verbal, written and communication skills
- Must be comfortable with public speaking
- Self-directed: ability to function independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to take on all levels of tasks to "get stuff done"
- High School diploma or equivalent required ; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
