$1400 2 stable couples seek 2BR/2BA to call home by June 1st (Downey, CA area)
Hello! We are 2 couples (26m/22f & married 24m/26f) seeking a new place to call home. We are all from Northern California originally, in the Chico/Sacramento area, and are now seeking a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house or apartment in the Downey, CA area. We all work in different parts of the Los Angeles area and drive a good ways to go dancing (we are all dance teachers/performers) so a central place like Downey is exactly what we're looking for! We also have no pets.
Here is the line-up:
Jonathon, 26m: I'm Jonathon. I'm a tall fella, I do a lot of swing dancing (West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop), I'm an Operations Supervisor for REI based out of Manhattan Beach, I'm very into the outdoors, and I'm very social. I'm also a fair gardener, so a yard with some unrealized potential is a MASSIVE plus! I volunteer a great deal and sit on local environmental boards like the LA Zero Waste Council and the South Bay Business Environmental Coalition.
Margaret, 22f: Margaret is my beautiful ladyfriend, very bubbly, extremely smart, a hostess at an amazing restaurant and an education presenter for the Long Beach Aquarium, a movie fanatic, a Disney lover, very, very clean, a quick conversationalist and an avid reader. Margaret has lived down here for a long time before so she's well-established.
Jenny, 26f: Jenny is an Administrative Specialist for a premier clothing company in Vernon, CA. She is a fashionista, whip-sharp, very responsible and a great coordinating force in the dance community. Jenny is also an avid reader/movie maven.
Jesse, 24m: Jesse is a graduate student of Chiropractic Medicine in Whittier, CA. Jesse is an experienced dance teacher, a computer guy, a sharp dresser, a movie fan, an amateur chef, and a great networker.
While we would love to find a house with a yard, we are certainly open to the possibilities that apartment living present!
Here is a short wish list that we have for a home, all of which are negotiable:
- Large living room area
- Storage space
- Master bedroom with private bathroom
- Garage space
- Yard in need of replanting (I'd like to learn by doing!)
- Quiet, safe, respectful neighborhood
