Life Steps Foundation has over 20 years of experience helping adults who have developmental challenges. Its ongoing mission seeks to maximize the independence of its service populations through a person-centered approach. The CSF, is responsible for providing home-based services to adult individuals with developmental disabilities. CSFs work in collaboration with the individual receiving services and his or her identified support persons to develop and carry out a Person-Centered Plan that will empower the individual to have the degree of independence and self-responsibility desired, protect the individual’s health and safety, support the individual to have a community life to the extent possible, live in his or her own home and have a life similar to persons without disabilities.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to relate to people who have disabilities.
Valid California driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Must be able to travel distances between work assignments.
Be a team player and have a strong desire to learn and to help others.
Proficient writing skills.
Willingness to help clients who have behavior issues.
A background in working with individuals who are disabled is a plus.
