Point is, my credit isn't very good, in fact, it's abysmal! My financial aid came in though, so I now have about $3000 to spend on a room. Since my credit is so far from being squeaky clean, I thought that I'd offer either a 3X normal deposit on a room or just pay as much as I can in advance. That way I get a roof over my head, and you get peace of mind and a big wad of cash all at once. I do have a job at the moment though, and I will be getting about 9 grand spring semester, so once January /February rolls around I can give you almost a year's worth of rent/utilities in advance.

Some things that I need though:
Kitty friendly. I have two, and they are adorable and well behaved.
Close to school. I'm kind of a tree-hugger, so I ride my bike everywhere.
No crazy drugs! If you do coke or something harder... that's just scary.
My privacy. I'll stay out of your business if you stay out of mine =) I am friendly though, don't get me wrong.

I'd be fine with a roommate/s my age, renting a spare room from a family or maybe somebody's refurbished garage. I just would like something stable. School's stressful enough!

A little bit about me:
I'm 22, female, non-smoker. Like I said before, I'm a biochem major. While kind of stupid with money, I'm quite responsible in other facets of my life. I work in a research lab on campus and I tutor chemistry. I love to cook, garden, knit etc. I also enjoy music and browsing through random wikipedia posts. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I love movies.

I'd like to move in asap, but I'd of course like to meet up a few times first so that we can get to know one another.

I need a space 15/18 x 15/18 where set up my gears for 4-5 days. It should be safe (I need to leave all set up for all period) and not necessarily sound proofed as long as I can play in it without bothering anybody.
The set includes percussion and digital percussion (so I need an accessible power outlet).
Mostly I practice with headphones, but also I practice (very lightly) drums and metal percussion.
Of course I'm willing to pay a rent on it.
