Duties expected: (Must have Clean and Valid Class A License and at least 1 year experience)
• Operate "yard tractor" to move container, trailers, and chassis
• Operate tractor trailer combinations from time to time
• Move equipment in a timely manner to requested locations, at a safe speed
• Inspect and complete a pre-trip for the yard tractor, prior to first move
• Inspect all equipment prior to moving for damage and report any immediately to Supervisor/Foreman
• Operate different types of refrigeration units,including "plug in"
• Start refrigeration units (pre-cool) prior to putting equipment to cooler, check fuel level, and other pre-trip requirements
• Maintain house keeping and remove and trash from the yard tractor by end of shift as well as throughout the plant property
• Complete all forms and paperwork as required
• Work as a Fork Lift/ Order Puller when not scheduled (during down time) as Yard Hostler, must be fork lift certified and report to Dock Foreman (supervisor).
• Perform other duties as required.

Must be flexible and a be able to follow detailed instruction
Must be responsible and have good work ethic
Ideal candidate must be able to perform the Fork Lift/Order Puller portion.
Monday thru Friday
Payrate: $14.00
