Automotive Test Drivers

Kett Engineering Corporation, a 56 year old automotive testing company is in need of experienced and skilled drivers to work at our German customer's prestigious automotive technology center in Long Beach, CA. Immediate openings available for Project Drivers. This is an ideal position for people who love to drive and are true vehicle enthusiasts. Duties for these very interesting positions include test driving and evaluating prototype test vehicles on "real world" durability test routes developed around the Southern California area and completing detailed written reports on theses vehicles. 8+ hours per shift. Normal shifts as follows: Mon-Sun, 1st shift 5am-1:30pm, 2nd shift-2:30pm-11:00pm. Start times may vary slightly and shifts may exceed 8 hours based on testing schedules. Must have good knowledge of using computers, good communication skills both written and verbal and good teamwork skills also required. Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles equally well.
Must pass a driving evaluation, drug screening and physical. Must have a clean 3 year DMV report with no moving violations or at fault accidents during this time period.
