I am in the process of completing an art project that involves the use of the labels from Mike's Hard Lemonade (all of the different varieties). I have even attached a photo of the project that I am working on. I made the bench myself and you can see how much more that I need to cover with labels. I'm guessing that I need close to 100 labels.
Allow me to address a couple of suggestions that I have received from readers of my post:
1) "Why not scan some labels and copy them?" Answer: I want to keep this project "authentic". It would be like asking (insert famous artist's name here) to use a paint-by-number set. I am NOT comparing myself to a famous artist.
2)"Why not contact the people at Mike's?" Answer: Believe me... I HAVE! I either receive no response at all or I receive a form letter saying,"Thanks for your interest in Mike's, blah! blah! blah!... but no." Unfortunately, they have not been the most cooperative.
If there are any CL posters who happen to drink ANY of the Mike's products, I REALLY need the labels. I can offer you some easy ways to remove the labels cleanly. Just ask. I would be happy to pay for the postage as well.
For those who have sent me labels... I am very grateful and would continue to ask for your help.
