Suppose Congress was debating a mandate outlawing tea-party-type protests and other large gatherings criticizing Congress. What he always neglected to say is that there is no provision in the health care bill to actually ask anyone if they are an illegal alien or not.
The democrats have been voting down every amendment to the health care bill that the Republicans have tired to put in which would make a data source available so that everyone who applies for the Obama care was checked to see if they are illegal or not.
As it stands now. No one will be asked if they are alien and there is no way to check to see if they are or not.
By having it that way many stupid whites will think that aliens are able to get the Obama care and they may vote the bill in.

I was blogging on the Stein Report and they shared an article in part:

I wish I could believe that approx 50,000,000 unemployed and severely underemployed in America was just a "lagging indicator"; as the overly optimistic economists like to predict....but what do they know, look at how wrong they've been all along in predicting the recent overpopulation uncontrolled growth impact on our banks and real estate.
IMO its going to get far worse than today, with more chronic YOY uncontrolled growth through immigration added in, that Roy has documented above in his usual excellent manner. I just hope and pray it doesn't get violent soon, with illegals and legals at each others' throats for the remaining crumbs at our Home Depots.

This is a bit off-topic, I know, but something important happened in the UK this week that might give some encouragement to immigration control advocates in the US who are struggling to get a hearing in the mainstream media.

This makes it really hard for our side to be heard and even harder to correct the lies told about us and the distortions of our message. But the lies don’t always work and sometimes the distortions are so grotesque that they make the media look foolish. A excellent recent example of this occurred when the BBC invited British National Party (BNP) Chairman, Nick Griffin, onto their TV show, Question Time. There, they mocked, denounced, and pilloried Mr. Griffin, giving him no opportunity to respond. The result? Public outrage against the BBC and the major party politicians. Within 2 days, 4,000 new applications were submitted for party membership (an increase of 20%) and 10,000 persons were added to the party’s email list. A poll taken the next day indicated that 22% of those surveyed would now consider voting for the BNP.

They must be importing a lot of truckers from eastern european countries because I see a lot of them in my line of work..I was dropping a trailer at a warehouse lot the other day & one of these foriegn drivers couldnt understand that the lady told him she didnt have any doors for him to back into..finally I told him after a couple of diffrent tries that she said to "wait"..Finally he understood that & sat down...How this guy ever got his CDL licence I'll never know.How does he even read the signs,understand directions or even understand what he's been dispatched on?

You might think we had sufficient unemployment in our country that the government wouldn't be importing it, yet they do. It does more harm than all the illegal drugs and OPEC oil we import every year, yet they very quietly, relentlessly, keep the flood coming, no matter what. And I really shouldn't say that we are importing unemployment, because most of the immigrants who come here to take the jobs that Americans desperately need actually leave jobs in their home countries, and many of those countries have lower unemployment rates than ours. But, it's not the fault of the immigrants. It is not their job to look out for the welfare of the American people.
Speaking of the people whose job that is, what kind of elected representative bleeds his own people dry for the benefit of foreign nationals and greedy American businessmen intent on driving down wages and salaries to Third World levels? Ask anyone on Earth. The answer is, a crooked representative. Move over Italy, we have become the most hopelessly corrupt nation in the industrialized world. Barack Obama is a far better man than Silvio Berlusconi, but one step down in the House and Senate, the temple of freedom - built in revolution by men of character and courage like Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison and Adams - has been completely overrun by the money changers. They cheat us, lie to us, take our jobs, sell out our country, and line their own pockets doing it. We can lie down and take it, or we can stand up and fight. But, judging by the RCP polls on Fox News, Americans are not as pliable as the “D.C.-wood” ad execs seem to believe. U-oh...I said Fox News, does that make me a subversive? Well ... I can live with that.
The sad thing is, a lot of Americans don’t realize that immigration is not about staying competitive in a global economy or high minded ideals regarding a downtrodden cultural demographic. It’s about the political elite changing partners in order to stay in the dance. It’s about changing the face of the American voter.
If the political plutocracy manages to recruit it’s target constituency, an open bordered NAU becomes a non-issue. Politicians on both sides of the aisle favor lax immigration laws and impotent enforcement actions for the same reason that unions want to recruit millions of foreign immigrants from the Americas.
A legacy of patron/supplicant relationships is deeply ingrained in many immigrant cultures. This behavioral characteristic has not gone unnoticed by those who desire, above all other motives, to keep enjoying the power and benefits derived from control.
It doesn’t matter if long term goals or short term profits are being sought. The pawns that would-be demagogues harm in order to reach their objectives, are just collateral damage, acceptable losses.
Roy is right when he says to tell your members of Congress and the President how you feel. These are facts the majority of Americans need to know as well.
While your at it, tell your Congressional representatives that 2010 is just around the corner. And, that your typical American voter does not represent the demographic behavior model that will quietly acquiesce, then return obediently to the salt mine.
This is an excellent paper that I recommend to everyone even though it was written by a Mexican in their President's political party. He is concerned about loss of power from the American people to the politicians. He favors Mexican Americans and Mexican immigrants investing to create jos in Mexico. He expresses surprise we have not adopted Alinsky type tactics.

Regardless of political persuasion, the American taxpayer had better WAKE UP and do so very soon. This "transparent" Administration has taken pains to deliberately skew or report the news as it sees fit on all issues, but especially with regard to illegal innigration-related ones.
I am a New York State resident, and sadly have to tolerate the actions of the Champion for Illegals' Rights, Ted Kennedy-Wannabee Chuck Schumer. This man caters to and is beholden to the Liberal Left for his job; the voices of New Yorkers who vehemently disagree with his misguided crusade on behalf of illegals are ignored, but when combined with the totality of concerned Americans across the nation, will become powerful enough to turn the tide and blunt the insane influx of individuals who will drain our already fractured healthcare system, deny Americans the opportunity for gainful employment, and tear away at the fabric of an endangered social fabric.

During the campaign if I remember correctly Obama said that we should retrain those American citizens that lost jobs yet they want to import nurses, H.R. 1001 (Nursing Relief Act of 2009). A few minutes ago, the White House issued a new report claiming that the Stimulus Bill earlier this year has created or saved approximately 650,000 U.S. jobs.
Unfortunately, another government program -- immigration -- completely wiped out any overall benefit the stimulus jobs could have been for the American working man and woman.
All of us need to point out to every local newspaper, every Member of Congress and every one of our co-workers and family that the federal government has imported more than a million working-age foreign citizens this year to negate every positive impact the stimulus could have had for U.S. workers.
Yes, we are happy to see the news that far fewer H-1B visas have been issued this year for foreign tech workers than usual. But the H-1B visas -- as destructive as they are to some occupations -- are only a tiny fraction of the flow of working-age foreign citizens into the U.S. each year.
Here is what CNN just reported about the Stimulus jobs:
WASHINGTON (CNNMoney.com) -- The largest stimulus program in the nation's history has created or saved at least 650,000 state and local jobs, according to a report released by the Obama administration on Friday.
Based on approximately $150 billion in spending from the $787 billion recovery package, the tally is the first broad, concrete look at the stimulus program's impact on the economy. The numbers are drawn from tens of thousands of reports from state and local recipients as well as private companies.
NumbersUSA has tried since last November to persuade the news media to monthly report how many working-age foreign citizens are getting first-time work permits from the feds.
It remains the great national secret because the U.S. news media -- from the liberal to the conservative wing -- won't report these facts.
So, NumbersUSA once again will stand alone in telling you the inconvenient truth from the latest U.S. government statistics:
Each month, the feds give out about 160,000 first-time permanent and temporary work permits to working-age foreign citizens.
The 160,000 working-age foreign citizens are divided almost equally into those getting permanent work permits through green cards and those getting temporary work permits each month.
Of the immigrants aged 18-65 who get permanent work permits each month, about 35,000 of them were already working in the U.S. on previous temporary work permits.
Thus, the NET figure is 160,000 minus 35,000 equals about 125,000 foreign citizens who are getting a work permit for the first time each month.

The bottom line is that while this White House has focused on saving or creating 650,000 U.S. jobs, that same White House and about 90% of the Members of the U.S. Congress have allowed the federal bureaucracy to give out permanent and temporary work permits to about 1 million one hundred and twenty-five thousand first-time foreign workers thus far during 2009.
The White House said the actual number of jobs created so far is likely closer to 1 million, since its report on stimulus job creation only focused on $150 billion of the $339 billion in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds spent so far.

Even if you accept the White House's claim of having created/saved 1 million jobs, the feds have wiped out all the benefit to the American worker by giving work permits to 1.125 million new foreign workers in 2009.
Until Pres. Obama and Congress pass an Immigration Suspension bill, they are going to be throwing hundreds of billions of dollars down a rat hole as they create jobs in the economy that don't even keep up with the immigrants they are bringing into the country.
I hope you will pass along your thoughts about this to the President and to your three Members of Congress.

The passed House bill permits illegal aliens to buy the health care insurance. The questions is where does the money come from, with which they buy the insurance? The answer is the money comes from working. But by American laws, illegal aliens are not allowed to work in the u.s. legally. If you are allowed to work legally, they would not be illegal aliens.
If they are permitted to buy the health insurance with their own money, they must be permitted to work in this country legally, to make money to buy it. As said, they are not allowed to work legally. The health care plan legalizes their status, from not allowed to work to allowed to work.
Thereafter, the health plan violates American laws.

This is not a hateful request; it is a request to finally slow down the illegal entry into this country, that illegal entry that takes advantage of U.S. citizens, many of whom are hurting tremendously from this economy and the loss of jobs. People around the world need to be discouraged from entering this country illegally, not rewarded. We cannot continue to keep supporting all who wish to enter this country with our tax dollars. I totally disagree with the U.S. Government taking charge of health care, but if it is inevitable (meaning my family's faxes and letters have had no effect) how can those put in office (by the people) not only burden the people with such a system, but burden them with much more than they should be asked to handle? If you do not put such precautionary language into the law, it would be an open invitation to the world, open doors to the world, to come here for care. I believe the system will be overburdened enough, just as Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare have been overburdened; this will be much greater, and a much greater burden. It is no surprise to me that Congress does not include themselves in this health care plan. If Congress did include themselves, I might have just a little more positive attitude about what they are doing to the rest of us.

Thank you for contacting me about Social Security and other public benefits for immigrants who are in the United States in violation of our immigration laws. I appreciate hearing from you.
There is much confusion about whether illegal immigrants receive Social Security and other public benefits. The truth is that illegal immigrants are not eligible for most federal benefits.
Under existing federal law, which I have supported during immigration debates in the Senate, immigrants cannot receive Social Security benefits if they are not legally present in this country or if they lack work authorization. Illegal immigrants are also denied most retirement, welfare, disability, housing, food, unemployment, and postsecondary education federal benefits. They are not eligible for food stamps, Supplemental Security Income, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families cash assistance, or non-emergency Medicaid. Some states have made a public health decision to use state-only funds for basic health services for undocumented individuals in order to prevent the spread of contagious diseases.
Federal law does provide limited emergency benefits to illegal immigrants. These benefits, which are equally available to legal residents and U.S. citizens, include treatment for emergency medical conditions; short-term emergency disaster relief; immunizations against disease and testing and treatment of communicable diseases; and services necessary for the protection of life and safety such as soup kitchens and short-term shelters.
To be eligible for emergency Medicaid, unauthorized aliens must be poor and either elderly, disabled, or members of a family with children. Working-age single males are generally not eligible for any form of Medicaid regardless of their financial status or residence.
In 2004, the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) studied the impact of emergency health care costs for illegal immigrants on hospitals. GAO found that in the 10 states with the highest estimated populations of illegal immigrants, emergency Medicaid costs made up less than three percent of each state's total Medicaid expenditures. The results of this study, which is available at http://www.gao.gov/cgi-bin/getrpt?GAO-04-472, show that the costs of emergency health care for illegal immigrants are a small fraction of overall Medicaid costs.
During the 2006 immigration debate, I opposed an amendment that would have prevented newly legalized immigrants from claiming Social Security benefits based on the taxes they paid as undocumented workers. This amendment was rejected by the Senate in a bipartisan vote. I believe that if immigrants become legal residents and thereby become eligible for Social Security benefits, they should receive credit for the taxes they have already paid into Social Security.
I share the concerns of those who feel that it is more difficult than ever to maintain a successful middle-class life in America. Throughout my time in Congress, I have worked to raise wages for American families, to make health insurance more affordable and accessible for all Americans, to strengthen collective bargaining rights, to prevent jobs from being sent abroad, to lower interest rates on college student loans, and to safeguard employee pensions. During immigration debates in the Senate, I have strongly opposed temporary guest worker programs that would bring a large influx of workers who might otherwise never come to our country. During the most recent immigration debate, I offered a Hire Americans First amendment to require employers to seek American workers for their open positions before they try to bring in guest workers.
There is no perfect solution to the problems we face as a result of our broken immigration system. Our borders are not secure, our workplace enforcement laws need reform, and our immigration policy fosters a shadow economy for millions of immigrants who simply want to demonstrate that they can be hardworking contributors to our country.
I will continue to work for a package of reforms that will protect American workers and that will be tough and enforceable, economically sensible and morally defensible. I will keep your views in mind as the debate continues.

At the moment, Pelosi is bowing to the pro-illegal-immigration Hispanic Caucus and turning a cold shoulder to all those moderate Democrats who say their constituents want the House bill to back up Pres. Obama's promises.
Vulnerable Democrats have launched a last minute push to include language
excluding undocumented immigrants from buying insurance in the exchange
with private money -- a provision included in the Senate Finance Committee
bill.
But adding the language to the House bill could jeopardize passage. Rep.
Ed Pastor, D-Ariz., said if the provision is included in the bill, a
majority of the 22-member Congressional Hispanic Caucus will vote against
the rule.
Losing those votes could combine with remaining anti-abortion Democrats to
leave leaders unable to bring the bill to the floor, said Pastor, a chief
deputy whip. "With the issue of pro-life and other people voting against
it, it becomes pretty difficult to deal with," he said.

NumbersUSA members are continuing to phone Democratic Members of the House (202-224-3121), urging them not to make Pres. Obama a liar.
To fulfill the President's promise, the House bill needs to have full verification requirements for every single part of the federal plan -- not just one part as Speaker Pelosi has now accepted. And the bill has to bar illegal aliens from being part of the "exchange."
Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) said those fulfillments of Obama's promise would be too much to swallow:
I have already said no tax dollars shall go to support health care for undocumented workers. What more do you want me to do?" Gutierrez said. "I'm being consistent. But now they want to feed the frenzy of the xenophobic, right-wing anti-immigrant. . . .
A Democratic aide said the CHC should focus any anger on the White House and the Senate, which added the (verification) language after President Obama addressed a joint session of Congress. "The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally," Obama said, prompting Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., to shout, "You lie!"

The Associated Press has just reported that, after the Hispanic Caucus confronted Pres. Obama at the White House this afternoon, the chair of the House Rules Committee indicated she is giving the Caucus what it wants:
Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) indicated that the House will have to vote on a bill that allows illegal aliens to use the new health care "exchange" and that does not require verification to keep illegal aliens out of the other parts of the proposed new federal health care system.
As I reported in my blog earlier today, the Hispanic Caucus sent leaders to the White House to berate Pres. Obama for his insistence that illegal aliens not be included in any of the proposed health care.
The Hispanic Caucus was especially adamant that illegal immigrants be allowed to use their own money to purchase health coverage in a new government-run "exchange."
He listened to us. We listened to him," said Rep. Nydia Velazquez, D-N.Y., head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. "We made it very clear that 20 votes in the Hispanic caucus" depend on the language in the House bill.
Currently, there is no prohibition in the House bill against illegal aliens buying insurance in the exchange, but the White House backs such a ban and one exists in the Senate bill.
"I think that he got our message," Velazquez said.

Basically, Obama and Senate leaders are trying to fulfill Pres. Obama's promise to the American people that no illegal aliens will participate in any part of the new plan.
But the Hispanic Caucus is saying it will vote against any bill that does that. At the moment, Speaker Pelosi has no way to get 218 votes to pass the bill without the Hispanic Caucus. But -- as I described in my blog earlier today -- we must ensure that the bill would be killed by a sufficient number of moderate Democrats who will refuse to vote for the bill unless it has the bans on illegal aliens.
The Representatives drawing their line in the White House sand were Rep. Velazquez (D-N.Y.), Rep. Lucille Royal-Allard (D-Calif.), Rep. Charlie Gonzalez (D-Texas) and Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.)
This AP story that just came out contains this bombshell:
House Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., said later that she did not believe there would be any change to the House bill on immigration.

There is a huge amount of implication in that sentence.
The bill as it now stands has gigantic loopholes that allow illegal aliens to use all parts of a new federal health care program.
If Chairwoman Slaughter is saying the Hispanic Caucus is getting its way and that no changes on immigration are being made, that means NumbersUSA will call on all Members of the U.S. House to vote NO on the rule on the bill, which would keep it from coming to the floor for a vote.
NumbersUSA deals only with immigration. We do not take any kind of position on the health care bill itself.
But if the bill comes to the floor with all these loopholes for illegal aliens, we most certainly are urging all Members to vote NO on the rule.

It utterly amazes me that these "so called Representatives" think that we (the American people) have no rights and they can dictate to us whatever "they decide" and we simply have to go along with it. They are too involved with themselves, or simply too arrogant or dense to realize that most of us would never ever think of voting for any of them ever again. The illegals are "illegal" - seems pretty simple to me. Many Americans have lost their jobs and yet no one helps them. And now Health Care should be available to illegals - ARE YOU KIDDING! Nancy Pelosi should be the poster child for term limits. They are putting this country at risk. I heard recently that they are waking up a sleeping giant - and they are. The American public have had it with all of them - enough is enough - and yet they still don't get it. I can't wait for the 2010 election - I will absolutely not vote for anyone that is in office and supports Pelosi and "her gang" ever again. This woman is so arrogant that she insults the American public every chance she gets. I recently changed my voter registration from Democrat to Independent. As of now, I doubt that I will ever vote for another Democrat ever again.

To Barbara first....I hope you don't mind if I correct your spelling of our great document which is constitution. I mean no disrespect and thought that correcting you would be better than having others think of you as less than the intelligent perso that you seem to be by the content of your comments.
Second and of most importance is our need to gather as much true info we can on our elected officials. If legal course is the way we need to go then we must look at our D.C. reps as we would if we were taking someone to court. I feel it is only a matter of a short time that an agenda to bring America to it's knees is what is going on in the background by people like George Soros. Money and power go together and the common American has neither.We need to continue the illegal immigration fight with Roy Beck's great website and research as much as possible to help a few trusted representatives to get the info to the proper people for future action from a legal standpoint. I found it ironic that there was talk of closing the borders because of the swinflu but we haven't been able to close the borders all these years to curtail the influx of illegals.

Could someone please tell me what the heck I am missing here!!!! These folks are ILLEGAL!! They have come into our country ILLEGALLY! Why is there any discussion as to whether or not they should have health care benefits? They don't belong here because they are ILLEGAL. How many times does that need to be said before someone smacks their forehead like in a V-8 commercial and says "THEY ARE ILLEGAL ALIENS and they don't get ANY benefits!" These folks should do things the right way. If they want to be Americans and live here, then follow the rules. I for one am sick of supporting folks that don't deserve it. I am struggling and I don't get any help. AND I WAS BORN HERE. As were my parents. It raises my blood pressure more than my football team, the Redskins!!!!

As a Mexican-American, those Hispanic representatives are NOT representing Americans but rather criminals. I pay my taxes, my parents pay taxes. My mother is Mexican-American, my father is an American citizen who followed the rules, filed paperwork and became an American citizen. To allow Illegals to have access is to spit in the faces of ALL immigrants who are have the integrity to follow the rules of this country.
I always suspect government officials who side with illegals because it clearly means that they have integrity issues. They probably don't pay their taxes, take illegal contributions, waste tax payer money. This is why they are soooooooo helpful to lawbreakers because they are probably one themselves.

I am an Hispanic, born and raised in NM and worked hard to make a decent living for forty one years. I agree with you that Velasquez, Royal, Becerra do not represent the majority of the legal immigrants and Hispanic population.The threat to The president is nothing short of blackmail. This country has enough law abiding citizens to take care of and cannot afford to feed,school and give health care to 12 million illegal immigrants. Enough is enough. Pelosi, Reid and their cronies need to be ousted out on their *##%#.

In a related bill, the Democrats defeated 60-30 a bill that would only include citizens in the census. Dems won't allow census takers to ask if people are citizens. In districts with huge numbers of illegals, new representatives will be added even thought the people counted are not citizens entitled to representations.

I spent several hours
I spent several hours earlier in the week trying to email 'Blue-Dog Democrats' (most of them won't accept emails from outside their district). For all my work I did little good. Frustrating. I have limited hours and can't use my phone for this.
My suggestion is that (while NumbersUSA speaks to 'illegal alienship'), a FAX be prepared and given to us specifically written to the Blue-Dog Dem's telling them that what is happening is definitely NOT in the interest of the United States. I'm hoping to soon see such a FAX from NumbersUSA reminding them that we are interested in seeing our laws enforced and illegals sent back to where they came from rather than 'assimilation', a 'path to citizenship', etc.
Moderator: We have been posting these faxes for members who live in the districts of Blue Dogs. You won't see the faxes if you do not live in those districts.

I have never seen so many people in America come together to voice their opposition to the direction their elected representatives in Washington have decided to pursue. My email list of friends who are spread around this great country are Democrat, Republican and Independent, and consist of several multi-ethnic backgrounds. My calculation shows that 90 % of my friends reflect an unheard of dissatisfaction level with their elected representatives and the direction in which they are trying to take this country.
I for one am already more deeply involved doing whatever I can to clean house and start anew with our elected representatives. Their arrogant attitude is reprehensible and certainly does not address the concerns that I have expressed to all of them. We’ve received responses agreeing with our concerns but that agreement is lost in the action being pursued.

One thing I am having a hard
One thing I am having a hard time accepting is how this country has systematically changed from the fundamentals in which it was founded.
We have evolved, in my lifetime, from a country of: "Over There","Give Em Hell Boys","I'm Proud to be an American","God Bless America" to a country of special interest groups, each having their own agenda. They all have THEIR RIGHTS each group has a shopping list too lengthy to mention. All of THEIR RIGHTS have been backed up by legislation written by these representatives (Lawyers)to make sure they are legally protected.
Our Representatives are elected to be the eyes, ears and voices of WE THE PEOPLE! That means all of "US" and checking your ethnic homeland at Ellis Island, JFK Airport, or any point of entry, and you go through the process of legally becoming becoming one of "US" (United States of America.

Becerra Democrat California all took oaths to uphold the laws of the United States of America and the Constitution, the act they just committed trying to blackmail the President of the United States to include illegal aliens in the healtcare bill should be grounds for impeachment, they have gone against their sworn duty.
It seems like Congress pays no attention to what their people do, breaking the laws of our land, going against their sworn duty to America, this has become a way of life for them, the Constitution and the peoples wishes amount to nothing anymore.
I know that like Gene Green in Texas and Pelosi in California and the above mentioned four would get re-elected no matter what they did, but some Democrats should be worried about 2010 and 2012.

Your missing the point....many of those "illegal aliens" that are in this country don't give a damn about America! If things here get bad enough, they are just going to crosss back across the border since they have NEVER given up their status as "Mexicans" or "Hondurans" or whatever! The truth is that what we are doing is secretly propping up countries like Mexico whose Governments' don't give a another damn about their citizens, especially the poor! It saves them money to have their poor citizens come here and they not care for them! Mexico's Government even sent out to its' citizens flyers on how to sneak into America and then as soon as you get across the border how to apply for assistance and where was the best places for the biggest payments, etc. Even those who apply for citizenship, many are frauds. In the oath to become a citizen of America you must swear alligence to this country alone and deny any connection to any "foreign powers" and yet many of these "new Americans", including non-hispanics, no longer see any problem with still retaining their connectiuon to their home country. For instance, Mexico has passed a law that "Mexican Citizens" retain their Mexican citizenship even if they emmigate and are living in another country and are citizens of another country. Now, just where do you think Mexico was targeting that bill about? I mean really, just where besides America are Mexicans going???? Yet our State Department never said a word about this in protest or was it a real "news" item for all Americans to hear about. Instead, our State Department has allowed Mexican politicians to come to America and campaign for election and the "Mexican-Americans" to vote in Mexico's elections!!!!! Why haven't you heard about this? Our Commie-Democrat run Government and news organizations don't want Americans to hear about it! How do I know this? I live in San Antonio, Texas and the local news covered the Mexican politicans campaigning here! What was their spin? How wonderful it is that we are all "working together" to ensure everyone gets to vote!!!! Do you know that we have right here in Texas several small towns aong the border with Mexico where the Mexicans have literally swamped the locals in their numbers residing in Texas. So their towns fly the Mexican flag over their town halls and conduct all their business in Spanish, and if you want to have the meeting translated into ENGLISH, you have to pay for the translation, and who knows if it is accurate! What do the State and Federal Officials do about this outrage! Nothing! When you call, because I have and asked, they tell you they aren't interested in this issue or are going to do anything about it, because they have "other business which is more important!" What is more important then defending America from foreign invasion, because that is what it is! Mexico has more than 10% of their Mexican population living in America, and that percentage may have gone up since eevery day we have smugglers bringing pregnant women across the border to have their babies at Anerican hospitals because ethey show up to the hospital's emergency in labor! Then, they have been told how to demand that the baby be given American citizenship because the birth occured on American soil, and then they go home to Mexico and collect welfare benefits and never pay the hospital bills! They had one woman on the local news that had 7 babies that way and she was not in the least shy about how she felt she had no need to pay her bills, and our officials are too chicken with P. C. training to do something that is clearly actions that are fraudulent and cost the U. S. taxpayer! That gives her a small fortune to live on by Mexican standards, at our expense!
So, maybe now you can understand better the illegal alien attitude towards the healthcare bill!
And why do you think the politicians care? There is hugh fraud in their districts where illegal aliens vote intheir districts every election because there is no attempt or law to require anyone to show an ID when they vote!
So I am one pissed off American and can nothing about it. My Congressional District is Charlie Gonzales' District, one of the Hispanic Caucus who went to the White House to demand illegal laien covergaee be retained in the Healthcare Bill! He is "safe" from any backlash because San Antonio is 57% Hispanic.

One of the big differences is that this is just one more action to encourage even more people to enter the country illegally. Just one more step toward the total collapse of our any resemblence to an immigration system. Something like "upon further evaluation,.......", "a good leader knows when he has erred and moves to correct that error" . and "even with the contrversal remarks of Senator Joe Wilson, I can not be deterred from making a correction to my earlier remarks and making a humane decesion" ......
Make up your own. Again, I am absolutely amazed at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and other open border proponenets. Just six months ago, I would have found these actions totally impossible. I can't even imagine what their next steps that will be that once "totally shock" me. Perhaps a "temporary" suspension of our imigration en forcement laws or inclusion of illegal aliens in our equal opportunity and employment act. This has turned into an ethnic agenda to take over this country and it operation. I just can't imagine this is happening.

I'm tired of handouts and against the entire health care bill as it stands. I wonder though, if Hispanics or anyone else is left out of the plan, what happens when they show up at the hospital sick or ready to deliver. The hospital won't be able to turn them away and they can't pay. What's different from what we already have? More money for the same thing? With all the intelligent people we have can't anyone sit down and write a really good health care bill that isn't 2000 pages and cost us an arm and a leg?

but if they get healthcare they can go to the doctor's office evryday. What will that cost? We don't need to give them any more incentives to come here illegally! They are still coming so you can see that even with no jobs they still think it is a great opportunity for them and a great loss to Americans! We need to vote all of the representatives that no longer care about their country and it's citizens! That is the only way to save our country from special interest groups who seem to have the ears
of congress. Most of the representatives are lawyers who
don't seem to honor the oath they took. I often wonder what the special interest groups are giving to Washington to get such devotion?

Michael, right you are. Because of our current laws, taxpayers will always be responsible. Our emphasis must be on jobs verification, and then consider making the last employer who hired the illegal responsible for any accessed health care. After all, they have saved a tremendous amount on wages, perhaps there is a responsibility that goes along with it. All this is mute when you can’t reach a congress person by phone.

The Democrat's is supposed to add $1.2-trillion, but the Republican's is supposed to save 62 billion. If the Republican House bill only insures Americans, that would be the bill to urge Congress to support.

Joe Wilson should be receiving praises from the Republican Party. He hit the nail right on the head when he called our community organizer a liar. The Republican party needs to grow a back bone and stand up to the socialist/marxist party the Democrates have become. At a recent trade fair in Baghdad, companies from several nations were on hand to promote goods and services, but companies from the United States were notably absent. Above, a corporate booth at the fair’s Iranian pavilion.
That would be the country that spent that trillion dollars — on the invasion and occupation, but also on training and equipping Iraqi security forces, and on ambitious reconstruction projects in every province aimed at rebuilding the country and restarting the economy.
Yet when the post-Saddam Iraqi government swept out its old commercial fairgrounds and invited companies from around the world, the United States was not among the 32 nations represented. Of the 396 companies that exhibited their wares, “there are two or three American participants, but I can’t remember their names,” said Hashem Mohammed Haten, director general of Iraq’s state fair company. A pair of missiles atop a ceremonial gateway to the fairgrounds recall an era when Saddam Hussein had pretensions, if not weapons, of mass destruction.
The trade fair is a telling indication of an uncomfortable truth: America’s war in Iraq has been good for business in Iraq — but not necessarily for American business.
American companies are not seeing much lasting benefit from their country’s investment in Iraq. Some American businesses have calculated that the high security costs and fear of violence make Iraq a business no-go area. Even those who are interested and want to come are hampered by American companies’ reputation here for overcharging and shoddy workmanship, an outgrowth of the first years of the occupation, and a lasting and widespread anti-Americanism.

No. 3: If you are connected in any way to any of the groups, email them today and challenge their outspoken support for "comprehensive immigration reform." The legislation they demand would keep 7 million jobless Americans from obtaining the jobs held by illegal aliens. And it would import millions of new immigrant workers the next few years to take most of the jobs that become available as the economy recovers.
No. 4: Then tomorrow, phone those same groups about their selfish actions. Urge them to honor our veterans by embracing lower immigration that would serve the national community that our veterans so selflessly served.
No. 5: Take the NumbersUSA Interests Survey that will allow us to give you specific opportunities to continue contacting the groups to which you belong. Only you as members of these organizations can have any real influence at reducing the aggressiveness of their lobbying for amnesty the next two months before January when congressional leaders promise to try to pass amnesty.

There are solutions and it starts with your thinking. Get rid of the "things" way of thinking. The condo? Bills?
File for bankruptcy and move on. Literally. There are many housing options available. Anyone can buy a travel trailer for around 2-3 thousand bucks and sometimes even less. Find a mobile home park that allows RV's and the rent is 300-400 dollars per month. Rent a big house and rent out rooms to elderly women who are struggling.
People waiting for things to get better will die waiting.
My mother is losing her condo. For reasons too nuanced to get into here (but which I'd discuss face-to-face), it's a tragedy beyond words. Like I said, my mother never pressed her kids to be rich. She pressed us to be responsible and pursue interests. I now feel helpless. I make $55K a year but my mother (with 3 years of debt and medical bills and unemployment) needs $100K to survive. It would allow her to pay down her debt and at least make her mortgage payments for another 3 to 4 years (combined with her social security checks). My mother isn't functioning well under the stress. It's like watching her be beaten up by life.
My mother worked her whole life for non-profits. She built and ran development offices for more than half a dozen charities and social-services organizations. When she got out of her bad marriage she helped others and raised her kids. I'm looking for a miracle in someone's insane sense of charity. If you'd like to discuss the specifics some more, just message.
So...if there's anyone out there with tons of money and an unhinged sense of generosity, my mom could use your help. This post is a shot in the dark, a lunatic move, but I figure it's worth it. I find myself every two weeks or so buying a lottery ticket or two (heh...I've always considered the lottery a tax on the foolish). But there's no way out of this for my mom. And this is all about money. It's just numbers. Right now the numbers are killing her and all that can help is a check. At 39 I feel ridiculous for not having pursued avenues for wealth which were open to me after my mom ensured I got the best education possible. I feel helpless and my mom is hurting.

Let me quickly go back to Van Jones and tell you why this bothered you at Fort Hood, while you were watching the President, I know everybody has already talked about this, but I've been gone and I haven't heard anybody really spell out why this bothered you. When he talked for two minutes -- play the audio, please, of Van Jones, when he talked for two minutes prior to saying, Hey, by the way, huge tragedy at Fort Hood today, he was talking about Indians and this is the first audio piece that went off in my mind. I knew I had heard the word -- these kinds of words somewhere before that the President was now saying and it was spilling out into my living room. I'm hearing not the President. I'm hearing this.
MR. JONES: No more broken treaties, no more broken treaties. Give them the wealth. Give them the wealth. Give them the dignity. Give them the respect.
GLENN: Okay. So, I started thinking about Van Jones. Now, this is in the three minutes before the President even starts to address Fort Hood. And I start thinking about Van Jones and then I remembered that I wanted to talk to you about something that we had missed and I think everybody had missed in New York in the 23rd -- while everybody was talking about the New York 23rd, they didn't notice that there was -- in the law in New York and it went -- really, nobody even talked about it. Do you want prisoners to be able to go work for community organizations? Sure. That sounds like a good idea. Uh-huh. So, now prisoners can leave the walls and they can work for community organizations, just pulling a couple of ideas out, Americorp, maybe, something like that. And it made me think that we got off Van Jones too early because we were working on a story about Van Jones speaking in San Quinton last March, where he told a group of inmates from the San Quinton Times, quoting, We need genius. We need entrepreneurial brilliance, people who will reimagine possibilities. We need you. The whole point of that speech was to give jobs to people in prison, to let them work, something that has just passed in New York and nobody paid attention. Naturally, I think we all agree that this is -- it's only an extremist that think that we shouldn't be looking for tomorrow's entrepreneurs in prisons, not colleges or tech schools. No, no. Prisons. That's where the, quote, genius and entrepreneurial brilliance will from. Guess who else focused directly on prison inmates for their recruiting efforts. Let me ask the question again. Van Jones looking for new recruits, entrepreneurial brilliance. New York now voting to say, yes, if you're a prisoner, you can go to work for a community organization. Hum. Sounds awfully familiar. Sounds like the Van Jones plan. So, we know Van Jones and the extreme left wants to recruit in prisons, but who else wants to recruit in prisons? Who looks at not just the entrepreneurial brilliance in prison but who looks to prisons as their No. 1 spot to recruit, No. 1? Al Qaeda. The No. 1 place for Islamic radicalization in America is our prison system, which brings me full circle back to the speech where Barack Obama meandered around before addressing the Islamic terrorist slaughter of our men and women in uniform, on a military base right here at home, in Texas, and then he told us not to jump to my conclusions. Fortunately, President Obama has never jumped to my conclusions before.
OBAMA: I don't know all the facts, but that -- the Cambridge police acted stupidly.
GLENN: Hum. So, now you can draw your own conclusions from all of this, but my point is something wasn't right, something isn't right. When we can trace policy back to a radical revolutionary communist self-titled communist Van Jones and make the connections directly back to Barack Obama's agenda, maybe it was divine providence that this happened on the same day, so we could actually see the connections, mistake make these connections during a speech following, call it what you want to call it, a terrorist massacre. There's ample reason to be concerned. Trust your gut. Look. A lot of people will talk about may have been American rights. It's important. Treaties were broken, but in the grand scheme of things and priorities, the day of a national tragedy, yeah, I don't think I as the President would be doing that on that day, but you stay awake. You stay involved in the process. You are needed. You are not a sunshine patriot. If you just love the flag, well, just old glory, you're not going to be of any help. Your country needs you now more than ever before. You feel it like I do. This is not who we are, this is not the America our grandparents gave us. Check the records. You won't find a single shout out in any address on a tragedy from any American President in history. You won't find any Presidents advocating reparations for special interest groups, making the case for redistribution of wealth or making political promises to people before he even gets around the mentioning the death of 13 Americans who volunteered to serve not Americorp, not ACORN, but the ideas and the ideals of the founders of the United States of America.
On October 29, the Australian web site zik.com.ua reported that:
"Western Ukraine was hit by a severe epidemic of unidentified influenza, tentatively diagnosed by doctors as viral pneumonia. The number of dead has climbed dramatically. Doctors advise Western Ukrainians to stay home and use preventive medicine."
On October 30, Jane Burgermeister's theflu.com reported that:
"More than 30 people have died in the Ukraine as a result of a mysterious new virus that has an affinity for the lungs," according to Swiss reports. Ukraine's Health Ministry said the virus' origin is unknown and showed "no signs of mutating to become more virulent." So far, 40,000 people were reported sick and 951 hospitalized.
On October 30, healthfreedomalliance.org reported that Ukraine's Health Minister, Vasyl Knyazevych, said two laboratories diagnosed 11 of 33 samples tested as "highly influenza A/H1N1." As a result, he considered declaring a nationwide quarantine, even though western areas alone were affected.
Since October 19, 30 deaths, including one child, from "acute respiratory infections," were reported, at first called SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome, a serious form of pneumonia caused by a virus). Influenza A virus affects birds and some mammals like pigs.
WTO Fear Mongering
The WTO says Swine Flu is similar to seasonal strains. Most cases are mild, and many people recover unaided. Yet it called the virus "unstoppable" and, on June 11, declared its highest phase 6 alert, saying: "The world is now at the start of the 2009 influenza pandemic." On July 13, it stopped just short of mandating mass vaccinations to halt the pandemic's spread.
On its November 1 "Pandemic (H1N1) 2009" update, it said "more than 199 countries and overseas territories/communities have reported laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1 2009, including over 6,000 deaths."
On November 3, it reported the outbreak in Ukraine, "confirmed (as) H1N1 (based on) samples taken from patients in two of the most affected regions," and concluded that "most (Ukraine influenza) cases are caused by the H1N1 virus.
Infectious disease expert, Dr. Donald Lau, disagrees, saying:
"The statistical probability of this being the same H1N1 virus (is) infinitesimally small." He believes a highly virulent new strain is to blame. Public health authority, Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz sees a deadly connection between governments and the drug cartel over dangerous, toxic vaccines. On You Tube, he recently warned that:
"These vaccinations contain highly unstable viruses that easily mutate, because they are 'live active' laboratory mutants that are being administered....People shed these 'live' viruses up to three weeks following vaccination. That means if you haven't been vaccinated, and you get near someone who has and then sneezes, you can get their H1N1 laboratory infection."
He explained that anyone contracting H1N1, from vaccinations or other Swine Flu-infected persons, risks combining it with other internal or environmental viruses, creating a lethal mix that can kill. He expressed great concern about vaccines used to transmit dangerous viruses, capable of mutating into deadly ones, believes this may be happening in Ukraine, and thinks America and other nations may be next.
Ukraine Reports of Overhead Aerosol Spraying
On October 31, Kiev newspaper editors got dozens of calls about light planes doing aerosol spraying during the day. In refuting the claims, the district's Emergency Response office said "no permission had been granted for small aviation aircraft to fly within the city limits." Yet eye-witness accounts from Lviv, Ternopil, and other Ukraine cities said the same thing.
On November 8, the South African web site fto.co.za reported that last June 26:
"Suspicious aircraft were forced to land. A US operated (Russian-made long-range heavy transport) AN-124 changed its call sign from civilian to military which then triggered a response from the IAF (Indian Air Force) upon entering Pakistani air space (forcing) the plane to land in Mumbai while (a) second one was forced down by Nigerian fighter jets that also arrested the crew."
"According to reports, China's People's Liberation Army Air Force contacted the Indian and Nigerian intelligence officials about the presence of these US operated Ukrainian aircraft amidst growing concern that the United States was spreading 'biological agents' in the Earth's atmosphere, which some Chinese officials believed to be an attempt to (commit) mass genocide via the spread of H1N1 swine flu."
These aircraft "were carrying 'waste disposal' systems that could spray up to 45,000kg (nearly 100,000 pounds) of aerial type mist from sophisticated....nano pipes" in the planes' wings - called chemtrails.
"Then last week, (aircraft) sprayed (an unknown) substance over Ukraine days before the (mysterious) plague outbreak."
Quarantine and Martial Law Declared
On October 30, president Viktor Yushchenko quarantined nine regions, ordered mobile military hospitals established throughout the country, and was expected to declare martial law. Reports from western Ukraine said a "severe outbreak of UNIDENTIFIED Influenza, (is) suspected by doctors to be a form of viral pneumonia."
On November 4, in a nationwide address, Yushchenko cited:
-- an "emergency epidemic situation in the country," caused by "infections of viral origin, including A/H1N1 flu (that are) rapidly spreading across Ukraine;"
-- "People are dying; the epidemic is killing doctors;"
-- "three pathogens of viral infections came to Ukraine at the same time: two of them are seasonal flu and the third is the A/H1N1; according to virologists, such a combination of infections due to mutation may produce a new, even more aggressive virus;"
-- "It is generally known that the only way to prevent any infection is vaccination;" Dr. Viera Scheibner, the world's foremost vaccine expert, calls it the worst way as vaccines often cause the diseases they're designed to prevent;
-- "in early October," it was known that "viral infections in the west of the country" were spreading;
-- "The current Constitution after alterations in 2004 makes the Government solely responsible for conducting state healthcare policy....(by) my decree I put" the National Security and Defense Council (in charge) of decision-making;"
-- "Failure to comply with its orders will immediately result in application to the law enforcement authorities."
In other words, Yushchenko declared martial law. He also ordered a crackdown on political protests, the arrest of public health officials opposed to mass Swine Flu vaccinations and quarantines, arrests of anyone not complying, and a ban on all infection medicines except Swine Flu vaccines.
By November 6, Deputy Health Minister, Zinovy Mytnyk, said "633,877 people (were) suffering from flu and acute respiratory infections," and "95" had died.
On November 7, healthfreedomalliance.org updated the totals to "871,037 Influenza/ARI (acute respiratory infection) cases, 39,603 hospitalized, and 135 deaths, and asked if Baxter released a bioweapon in Ukraine, saying "Evidence appears to suggest" it. It cited a February 24 bloomberg.com report that "Baxter Sent Bird Flu Virus to European Labs by Error (containing) contaminated (virus) samples...."
The problem was discovered when inoculated ferrets in a Czech lab died. Austrian health minister, Sigrid Rosenberger, confirmed that Baxter supplied batches "infected with a bird flu virus." Company spokesperson, Christopher Bona, blamed "human error." Others were skeptical, including Austrian journalist Jane Burgermeister.
On June 10, she filed sweeping criminal charges with the FBI in addition to earlier April 8 ones with the Vienna State Prosecutor's Office against Baxter AG, Baxter International and Avir Green Hill Biotechnology AG, "for manufacturing, disseminating, and releasing a biological weapon of mass destruction on Austrian soil between December 2008 and February 2009 with the intention of causing a global bird flu pandemic virus and of intending to profit from that same pandemic in an act that violates laws on international organised crime and genocide."
Baxter operates Biosafety Level 3 (BLS-3) labs that take strict precautions to assure against accidental H3N2 (human influenza) and H5N1 (bird flu) co-mingling contamination. Letting it happen suggests something more nefarious than an accident.
BLS-3 personnel are trained in handling pathogenic and potentially lethal agents and are supervised by competent, experienced scientists. In addition, these labs have specially engineered design features for added safety.
By combining H3N2 and H5N1 viruses, "Baxter produced a highly dangerous biological weapon with a 63 per cent mortality rate. The H5N1 virus is restricted in its human-to-human transmissibility, especially because it is less airborne."
"However when....combined with seasonal flu viruses (easily transmitted by air), a new flu virus is created which is unknown to the human immune system and which will have a severe impact on an unprotected population. A deadly virus of this kind could spread around the world in a short time and (potentially) infect millions (or) even billions of people."
Baxter (via Avir) "distributed (72 kilos of) contaminated (live bird flu) vaccines using false concealment and false labels to 16 laboratories in Austria and....other countries at the end of January/beginning of February, potentially infecting at least 36-37 laboratory staff, who (were) treated preventively for bird flu and ordinary flu." On the same day, 18 Avir employees were as well at Vienna's Otto Wagner Hospital.
Burgermeister cited a Baxter-Avir 2006 contract with Austria's Health Ministry for 16 million vaccine doses in case a bird flu pandemic was declared. This "laboratory incident shows that national and international authorities are not able to fulfill their obligations to ensure the safety of the Austrian people," and indicates they engaged in a cover-up.
"If a pharmaceutical company can breach laws - and almost trigger a bird flu pandemic, which (potentially could spread worldwide) - without being made accountable for it....then there is, de facto, no rule of law on Austrian territory."
She also contends that Baxter's production system, "namely, the use of 1200 liter bioreactors and vero cell technology," meets "the technical criteria to be classified as a secret dual purpose large-scale bioweapon production facility (able to produce) a huge amount of contaminated vaccine material....rapidly."
"If (this) material were added to the 1200 liter bioreactors, it would replicate and infect the entire batch of vaccine material in (it). Contaminated material could (then) be distributed among sections of the population using false labels and secretly marked batches (able to) infect millions of people."
Burgermeister accused high-level Austrian Health and other Ministry officials of knowledge and support of this practice. Otherwise, controls would have prevented it. In June, she named drug producers Baxter, Novartis and Sanofi Aventis; world agencies, including the WHO, UN, and CDC; and high-level officials in Austria, other European countries, and America.
Did Baxter Release a Bioweapon in Ukraine?
Baxter has a facility in Ukraine. Given the above evidence, it may be behind the current outbreak. A November 1 David Rothscum infowars.com article headlined: "Has Baxter International released a biological weapon," in citing an earlier Huffington Post report on a man named Joseph Moshe, a Mossad biological warfare expert. True or not, he warned, on an August radio program, about "a biological weapon....being made by Baxter International('s Ukraine facility) that would be spread through vaccine and would cause a plague upon its release." Having reported this two months before the outbreak lends credence to his story.
In August, Ukraine was almost influenza free. On October 30, earthtimes.org said only two cases of Swine Flu had been reported. According to fto.co.za, on March 26, reports were that "thousands of Ukrainians refused" to be vaccinated, because of fears about "diphtheria, mumps, polio, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, (and) whooping cough among others. Health officials said (this) could lead to disease outbreaks...." Perhaps unleashing a "biological weapon" is how to convince them and millions elsewhere.
Rothscum confirmed Moshe's credentials, noting that "massive numbers of microbiologists have been dying bizarre deaths." Among them:
-- Stephen Lagakos, Professor of Biostatistics and AIDS researcher at Harvard's School of Public Health, died in an October auto collision;
-- Malcolm Casadaban, reknown molecular geneticist, died of plague in September;
-- Wallace Pannier, noted germ warfare scientist, died in August of respiratory failure;
-- August "Gus" Watanabe, former Eli Lilly and Company Executive Vice President of Science and Technology and former head of its Research Laboratories, died of apparent self-inflicted wounds from a .38-caliber handgun; a note left behind cited depression over his daughter's death;
-- Caroline Coffey, Cornell University post-doctoral biomedicine researcher, died in June from massive cuts to her throat; and
-- Nasser Talebzadeh Ordoubadi, a Mind-Body-Quantum medicine pioneer and discoverer of an antitoxin treatment for bioweapons, died in February of "suspicious" causes.
On November 7, theflucase.com asked:
Is the Ukraine outbreak "the plague? A mutated virus? Or is the plague the cover for introducing a mutated virus?" Citing the South African web site fto.co.za., it wondered if the Ukraine Swine Flu strain "might have mutated (to) pneumonic plague."
It reported Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Health saying his nation has a different H1N1 strain than the rest of the world because of how many were infected so fast. Other officials disagree and suggest this one may have mutated to something else because it "has a much bigger rate of filling the lungs with blood....The plague or virus in the Ukraine has 10 times the mortality rate (attributed to) normal swine flu."
However, unconfirmed reports are that "people are going on as normal....they also say this is fear mongering" to promote voluntary vaccinations. "Everyone is waiting for the gene sequences which will confirm whether this has been hyped up, a real mutated H1N1, or just bad (Ukraine) health services." Perhaps exaggerated illness and death reports to stoke fear and be a pretext for what followed.
Ukraine is now under martial law. Civil liberties are suspended. By government edict, anyone may be criminally prosecuted. Scheduled January elections may be delayed or cancelled. Public demonstrations are banned. Political opponents are prohibited from traveling in quarantined areas. Borders are partially closed. Mandated vaccinations are coming. WHO fear-mongering is hyping the danger. A month before the outbreak, it took part in a bioterrorism plague exercise. On November 7, Lake of the Hills, IL police conducted their own against pneumonic plague as part of the McHenry County Department of Health's emergency planning.
Burgermeister suggests that Baxter, the:
"WTO and the international corporate crime syndicate that funds them may have decided they could go ahead with their plan to trigger a pandemic in Europe and the USA because the public awareness of the dangers of the vaccine has become too great, not least as a result of WHO and Baxter being caught contaminating 72 kilos of vaccine material with the live bird flu virus in February."
Opposition to Vaccinations in Europe
Across the continent, opposition is widespread. Few are showing up to get it. On November 7 in Paris, a public demonstration against them was held. As of November 5, less than 0.1% of the French population was inoculated despite a mass vaccination campaign. 90% of Greek health workers oppose them. Reports from Portugal say vaccine centers are nearly empty, and doctors and nurses won't take them. Sources expect a "revolution" if they're mandated.
A mid-October Der Spiegel article reported an "open rebellion" among general medical professionals and child physicians across Germany over dangerous Swine Flu vaccines. Dieter Ludwig, drug commission chairman of the German medical profession, said health authorities colluded with drug companies to promote them.
In Denmark, most public officials and healthcare workers won't take them, citing the danger and saying H1N1 is no different from seasonal flu. Throughout Scandinavia, sentiment is the same with up to 75% opposition. In Sweden, as few as several thousand have gotten them. Across the continent also, in the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium and elsewhere. Also large segments of the US, Canadian and UK populations voice strong opposition. Open protests are occurring in Austria. In other countries as well. Millions know the toxicity and won't touch them. Ukraine's outbreak may be a counteroffensive to force them, first there, then globally.
Ukraine Outbreak Spreads
On November 6, innworldreport.net headlined, "Pneumonic Plague Outbreak in China Follows Outbreak in Ukraine." The town of Ziketan (population 10,000) reported two deaths and a dozen others infected. The "area inside a 17-mile radius" was quarantined to contain it. The "highly contagious disease, one of the most virulent and deadly diseases on earth, (is) usually fatal within 24 hours. It attacks the lungs and kills nearly everyone who catches it unless treated rapidly with antibiotics."
On the same day, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko called the panic over Swine Flu artificially created by drug companies. He urged people not to panic, and said authorities are monitoring the situation in neighboring Ukraine. Ten deaths were reported in the Minsk, "preceded by flu-like symptoms."
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty disseminates US propaganda in 20 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan. On November 4, it headlined, "Swine Flu Fears Spread from Ukraine to Afghanistan," then reported, true or false, incidences showing up in Iran, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Serbia, and other Balkan countries. "Afghanistan has declared a nationwide public health emergency and closed all educational institutes for three weeks."
On November 2, the Chinese web site sina.com reported that authorities in a southeast Bulgarian district declared an A/H1N1 epidemic, according to local media accounts. The "sick rate" rose "to 200 per 10,000 people," and in some towns is approaching epidemic levels. A later report said 210 per 10,000. Two deaths were reported, and Bulgaria's chief health expert, Tencho Tenev, said "at least two million Bulgarians, or 30 percent of (the) population, could become infected with the flu virus over the coming months."
On November 9, thebirdflupandemic.com headlined, "Russia, Belarus and Bulgaria On The Verge Of A Flu Epidemic As Cases In Ukraine Near 1 Million."
Same day Ukraine reports said 1,031,597 people are sick with flu-like symptoms, 52,742 have been hospitalized, and 174 people have died. On November 6, Russia's Chief Health Official, Gennady Onishchenko, said most regions in the country "are on the verge of a flu epidemic."
"Disturbing reports are beginning to surface in western Europe. In Austria, special army units based in Korneuburg (where Baxter's facilities are located), have been conducting pandemic emergency exercises and quarantining patients in hospitals. Are they expecting something to happen?"
WHO "Whole-of-Society Pandemic Readiness Guidelines for Pandemic Preparedness and Response in the Non-Health Sectors"
Prepared in April 2009, the same month Swine Flu was reported in Mexico, it was revised in July and now easily accessed coincidently with the Ukraine outbreak. Its aim is:
"to prepare the whole of society, beyond the health sector, for pandemic influenza....including public and private sector organizations and essential services."
The flucase.com says it "outlines how WHO will take over a country's essential services, including water and sanitation; fuel and energy; food; health care; telecommunications; finance; law and order; education; and transportation under the pretext of a pandemic emergency."
The "guidelines" state:
"National inter-ministerial pandemic preparedness committees should map out the central government's roles, responsibilities, and chain of command and designate lead agencies," answerable to the WHO that's perhaps enforceable during a "health emergency." It may work like this.
Vaccine law attorney, Alan G. Phillips says:
"....underlying laws.... allow states to mandate vaccines in an emergency....throw out exemptions, (and) impose quarantines and isolation outside of our homes."
US laws are similar. They can mandate vaccinations and let states isolate and quarantine influenza victims if authorities call the disease infectious and life-threatening. Under the 2006 Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act, the HHS Secretary may declare any disease an epidemic or national emergency requiring mandatory vaccinations, quarantine, or other protective measures. It's a short step to empowering WHO with authority over most nations in short order.
Its "guidelines" also want Defense Ministries to designate military assets to enforce vaccinations and quarantines under pandemic conditions. They also say:
"Ministries of Justice should consider what legal processes could be suspended during the pandemic and make alternate plans to operate courts" while it continues.
According to theflucase.com:
"leaked (French) documents show that the Minister of Justice has ordered the suspension of the most basic rights, and people can be incarcerated for up to six months without having to appear before a judge in a pandemic emergency."
Might America and other nations order similar measures under a "pandemic emergency," real or bogus.
Internal 2006 IBM Document Reveals Advance Knowledge of a Planned Pandemic
Titled, "Services & Global Procurement pan IOT Europe, Pandemic Plan Overview," it was distributed to upper-level management in France. It predicted a "100% chance (of a) planned (pandemic) occurring within the next 5 years," covering quarantines and operational procedures to be taken after an official WTO announcement. This document suggests what many believe - that governments and the drug cartel, in collusion with the WTO, orchestrated the current crisis, choosing Ukraine as the lead target. The situation there deserves close monitoring because of what may happen globally.
Advance Pandemic Warning and Early Preparations
Replikins, Ltd. is a small Boston-based biotech firm that "develops and markets....predictive products and vaccines....based upon the company's discovery of Replikins, a new group of peptides related to the rapid replication function in viral and other diseases (capable of) predicting the emergence of virulent strains of particular diseases."
On April 7, 2008, a year before the reported Mexican H1N1 outbreak, it published a "FluForecast" stating the following:
"Replikins, Ltd. has found that the Replikin Count of the H1N1 strain of influenza virus has recently increased to 7.6 (plus/minus 1.4), its highest level since the 1918 H1N1 pandemic....A rising Replikin Count of a particular influenza strain, indicating the rapid replication of the virus, is an early warning which has been followed consistently by an outbreak of a specific strain. The current increase appears to be specific to H1N1; there was a concurrent 80% decline in the Replikin Count of (seasonal) H3N2, for instance."
"The current H1N1 appears to be rapidly replicating simultaneously in the US and Austria....However, the same virus replikin structures detected by FluForecast software in all three previous pandemics, namely 1918 H1N1, 1957 H2N2, and 1968 H3N2, as well as in H5N1 (Avian Flu), have not yet been detected in the currently evolving H1N1."
In an October 24, 2007 press release, the US Treasury Department discussed the "preliminary results of the industry-wide pandemic flu exercise....More than 2,700 organizations registered to participate anonymously (which) began in September and ran for three weeks." Involved were banks, insurance companies, securities firms and exchanges, and state and federal regulators.
"The exercise simulated a pandemic wave with a peak absenteeism rate of 49 percent....President Bush directed Treasury in May 2006 to coordinate with the banking and finance sector to better prepare its response to a pandemic crisis."
On December 12, 2007, FEMA Region I (for New England) hosted a joint federal-state exercise "to strengthen contingency plans for an influenza pandemic. Operation PANEX 07 is the first functional exercise of its type in this country designed to determine best practices for a coordinated multi-agency response to an outbreak."
Participating agencies included the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Defense (DOD) "in partnership with their counterparts in the six New England states."
On July 28, 2009, CNN reported that the Pentagon will "establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials....The plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with (FEMA)."
Consider the implications. On October 23, Obama declared a H1N1 national emergency. The Pentagon will be in charge if conditions warrant it. Civil liberties may be suspended. Martial law may be declared. Mandatory toxic, dangerous vaccinations may be ordered, known to cause auto immune diseases ranging from annoying to debilitating to life-theatening. The situation in Ukraine bears watching. It may signal what's soon heading everywhere.

Obama's problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail.
That is why he opened Pandora's Box by publishing the Justice Department's legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley , Virginia to try to reassure a demoralised CIA that had just discovered the President of the United States was an even more formidable foe than al-Qaeda..
"Don't be discouraged by what's happened the last few weeks," he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them - or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed.
So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers...

"Over the course of the year, independents' preference for the Republican candidate in their districts has grown."
The Nov. 5-8 update comes just after Republican victories in the New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial elections, which saw Republicans replace Democrats as governors of those states.
As was the case in last Tuesday's gubernatorial elections, independents are helping the Republicans' cause. In the latest poll, independent registered voters favor the Republican candidate by 52% to 30%. Both parties maintain similar loyalty from their bases, with 91% of Democratic registered voters preferring the Democratic candidate and 93% of Republican voters preferring the Republican.
Over the course of the year, independents' preference for the Republican candidate in their districts has grown, from a 1-point advantage in July to the current 22-point gap.
The overall results would predict a likely strong Republican showing if the House elections were held today. Though the registered-voter results reported here speak to the preferences of all eligible voters, voter turnout is crucial in determining the final outcome of midterm elections. Gallup will not begin to model likely turnout until much closer to the 2010 elections, but given that Republicans usually have a turnout advantage, if normal turnout patterns prevail in the coming election, prospects for a good Democratic showing appear slim. Of course, the elections are still nearly 12 months away and conditions could shift back in the Democrats' favor over this time.
Since Gallup regularly began using the generic ballot to measure registered voters' preferences for the House of Representatives in 1950, it has been rare for Republicans to have an advantage over Democrats. This is likely because more Americans usually identify as Democrats than as Republicans, but Republicans can offset this typical Democratic advantage in preferences with greater turnout on Election Day. Most of the prior Republican registered-voter leads on the generic ballot in Gallup polling occurred in 1994 and 2002, two strong years for the GOP.
Bottom Line
Roughly a year before the 2010 midterm elections, Republicans seem well-positioned to win back some of their congressional losses in 2006 and 2008. Independents are increasingly coming to prefer the Republican candidate for Congress, and now favor the GOP by 22 points. Political conditions could still shift between now and Election Day to create a more favorable environment for Democratic candidates, but a Republican lead on the generic ballot among registered voters has been a sign of a strong Republican showing at the polls in the coming election.

Share on Facebook | printer-friendly When Nancy Pelosi pushed Porkulus through on a party-line vote in the House and Harry Reid could only get three Republicans in the Senate, the GOP opposed the bill because it wouldn’t stimulate a nymphomaniac stripper on a Friday night. The bill almost entirely consisted of nothing more than a laundry list of Democratic pork and progressive wish lists that had been circulating around Capitol Hill for years. The Washington Post highlights one of the most prominent of the Porkulus programs, a $25 billion “energy efficiency” program that proves the point:
In Baltimore, the 300 block of East 23 1/2 Street is getting patched up in time for winter. One economic stimulus program is paying to insulate 11 rental rowhouses, another is paying for furnaces and a third is covering the cost for reflective roofs to be installed by prison inmates in a job-training program.
The block is part of one of the biggest initiatives ever undertaken by the federal government, a nationwide push to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. But as the national unemployment rate crosses into the double digits and Republicans question the stimulus program’s impact, the work on East 23 1/2 — even with all of its activity — has so far not produced a single job.
Nine months after Congress passed the $787 billion stimulus package, there is little tangible to show for one of its biggest single areas of investment, the $25 billion energy-efficiency effort. That points to one of the central tensions of President Obama’s landmark stimulus package: His goal was to inject money quickly into the economy while at the same time laying the groundwork for his broader, transformational agenda on energy, education and health care.
The Post doesn’t have that quite right. This program and its zero-jobs output shows that Obama intended to lay the groundwork for a broad progressive agenda that would have the federal government eating up more capital and assuming greater power over the lives of Americans. Not even Obama could sell this as an injection of cash into the economy. Most of the money went to states, which have mainly held onto it while they study the best way to build their bureaucracies on “energy efficiency.”
In fact, the entire issue of “efficiency” is rather ironic in this context. We spent $25 billion on this project from an appropriation intended to create jobs now, not four years from now when the private sector would have already recovered — especially if it had been allowed to keep more of its own money for investment in its own infrastructure. With a total of zero jobs created, the efficiency of this project can be measured in only the most microscopic of terms.
We call this bill Porkulus for a reason. With the exception of the targeted tax breaks, which the Democrats only included to entice rightly skeptical Republicans, nothing in this bill had anything to do with job stimulation. It had everything to do with paying off Democratic special interests and funding pet projects of progressives. The picture used by the Washington Post shows the seriousness of the effort: the big visual of this project is people installing reflectors on roofs. We would have done better to burn the $25 billion for the heat.
U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with an individual associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

Army knew suspected Fort Hood gunman had contact with al Qaeda recruiter.According to the officials, the Army was informed of Hasan's contact, but it is unclear what, if anything, the Army did in response.
Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said that he requested the CIA and other intelligence agencies brief the committee on what was known, if anything, about Hasan by the U.S. intelligence community, only to be refused.
In response, Hoekstra issued a document preservation request to four intelligence agencies. The letter, dated November 7th, was sent to directors Dennis Blair (DNI), Robert Mueller (FBI), Lt. Gen Keith Alexander (NSA) and Leon Panetta (CIA).
Hoekstra said he is "absolutely furious" that the house intel committee has been refused an intelligence briefing by the DNI or CIA on Hasan's attempt to reach out to al Qaeda, as first reported by ABC News.
"This is a law enforcement investigation, in which other agencies—not the CIA—have the lead," CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano said in a response to ABC News. " Any suggestion that the CIA refused to brief Congress is incorrect."

In a blog posting early Monday titled "Nidal Hassan Did the Right Thing," Awlaki calls Hasan a "hero" and a "man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people."
According to his site, Awlaki served as an imam in Denver, San Diego and Falls Church, Virginia.
The Associated Press reported Sunday that Major Hasan attended the Falls Church mosque when Awlaki was there.
The Telegraph of London reported that Awlaki had made contact with two of the 9/11 hijackers when he was in San Diego.
He denied any knowledge of the hijacking plot and was never charged with any crime. After an intensive investigation by the FBI , Awlaki moved to Yemen.
People who knew or worked with Hasan say he seemed to have gradually become more radical in his disapproval of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
On Sunday, Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) called for an investigation into whether the Army missed signs as to whether Hasan was an Islamic extremist.
"If Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have a zero tolerance," Lieberman told Fox News Sunday.

How Socialized Medicine Works

But what does "conservative" mean in 2009? And where do conservatives come down on the great issues? For what the right is against -- any repeal of the Bush tax cuts, the $787 billion stimulus, Obamacare -- is much clearer than what the right stands for.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s healthcare bill, which squeaked to passage in the House Saturday night, wasn’t liberal enough for one of the House’s most liberal members.
The bill doesn’t go far enough to establish government control over the nation’s healthcare system and instead rewards private insurance companies, says Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, who also ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008.
The legislation "forces people to buy private insurance, makes them pay a penalty if they do not,” Kucinich told Fox’s Greta Van Susteren Monday night. “Insurance companies are in the business to make money. In healthcare, they make money not providing healthcare.
“If we want healthcare, then let’s have health and put money into healthcare, not take one out of every $3 and give it to the insurance companies.”
The congressman said he does not believe people should be forced to buy private insurance and complained that single-payer healthcare was taken off the table and the public option was diluted.
“The state single-payer protection amendment, which I had in the bill was taken out,” Kucinich said. “In the end, this is the insurance companies getting carte blanche and the Congress giving up its power to insurance companies.”
He told Van Susteren he had talks with Pelosi about his single-payer protection amendment, but she said it was removed from the bill because the White House wanted to avoid getting heat from the insurance industry.
Kucinich, however, said he moves toward the center when it comes to popular concerns about costs and how much the government will have to borrow to pay for the plan that passed the House.
He believes the bill, which passed the House, 220-215, is unlikely to make it into law because it will be modified significantly once the Senate passes its healthcare bill and the House-Senate conference committee works out the differences.
"Anything goes in conference, which is why I am telling everyone that I was concerned about the insurance companies and protecting the 10 states and more where there are active single-payer movements,” Kucinich said. “Let’s take another run at this in conference and see if there is a way to get out of the bill, which will be passed in conference committee.”
WASHINGTON -- The White House on Tuesday shook up its communications team, with Anita Dunn stepping down and an aide taking over President Barack Obama's vaunted messaging machine.
Dan Pfeiffer will become White House communications director, and Dunn will be an outside adviser to Obama's White House, officials said. They expect the full transition to take place before the end of the year.
The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel decisions that had not yet been announced.
Dunn, a seasoned political operative, advised Obama's presidential bid and helped shape its outreach efforts to female voters. She initially refused to move to the White House, saying she wanted to spend time with her family. But when the White House's first communications director, Ellen Moran, stepped down to take a job at the Commerce Department, Dunn came aboard on an interim basis.
Since moving to the West Wing, she has been a fierce defender for the administration, a top target of conservative commentators and led a fight with Fox News.
"The reality of it is that Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party," Dunn said last month. "And it is not ideological. . . what I think is fair to say about Fox, and the way we view it, is that it is more of a wing of the Republican Party."
Pfeiffer is similarly aggressive in his defense of Obama, a position he occupied during the campaign. He rose from traveling press secretary to the communications director for the campaign and later transition. A loyal Democratic communications operative, Pfeiffer previously worked for Vice President Al Gore, former Sen. Tom Daschle of South Dakota, and Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana.
Obama and other administration officials initially considered Pfeiffer for the top communications job but instead brought Moran and Dunn into a communications and press operation that is otherwise heavy on males.
The personnel changes were first reported on The Washington Post's Web site.
Imams preach jihad and extremism in 10 percent of the 2,000 mosques in the United States, the FBI estimates.
That sums up the problem facing us as we ponder the meaning of Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s slayings of 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas. Given his association with a pro-al-Qaida imam in northern Virginia and his preoccupation with radical Islamic Web sites, it’s clear that the radical element of Islam influenced Hasan.
On the other hand, those who condemn Muslims in general because of the actions of Hasan and others like him are engaging in prejudice that has no place in America. Indeed, such stereotyping sets back the war on terror, because we need moderate Muslims on our side.
The problem is not the Quran, which is no more incendiary than some passages in the Bible. (Deuteronomy, for example, prescribes stoning to death for those who “served other gods and worshipped them.”) The problem is the radical element that uses the Quran as an excuse to engage in terrorism and the failure of many moderate Muslims to condemn the extremists.
About a quarter of the Muslims in America ages 18 through 29 believe that suicide bombings can be justified, according to a Pew Research Center poll. Generating those attitudes are imams who preach jihad and hatred in American mosques and postings on the Internet, according to FBI counterterrorism officials interviewed for my book “The Terrorist Watch: Inside the Desperate Race to Stop the Next Attack.”
Saying he is being conservative, an FBI counterterrorism official told me in interviews for the book that 1 in 10 imams preach jihad. Before 9/11, the number of mosques where imams preached jihad was even greater than today.
“Those who actively support extremist causes, say America is evil and deserves what it gets, and celebrate the death of soldiers, know they may come to our attention,” an FBI official says. “So they don’t do it as openly now.”
Before 9/11, he says, “There was much more of that because all of it was considered by Justice Department guidelines to be purely protected speech. We do not have incitement laws in America, but once an imam facilitates someone else taking action, he has crossed the line into material support and becomes our business.”
An example was Ali al-Timimi, a spiritual leader at a mosque in Northern Virginia who preached jihad and provided contact information for those who went to Afghanistan for training in terrorist camps. Al-Timimi is serving a life prison term.
The FBI has outreach programs to try to develop sources in the Muslim community and solicit tips, but FBI agents have found little receptivity. They find that Muslims often are in denial about the fact that the terrorists who threaten the U.S. are Muslims.
“I had this discussion with the director of a very prominent Muslim organization here in D.C.,” a frustrated counterterrorism agent says. “And he said, ‘Why are you guys always looking at the Muslim community?’”
The agent began laughing.
“Okay, you know what I’ll do?” the agent said. “I’ll start an Irish squad, or how about a Japanese squad? You want me to waste my time and your taxpayers' dollars going to look at the Irish? They’re not killing Americans. Right now, I’m going to put my money and my people in a place where the threat is.”
The agent tells them to take a look at the cells that the FBI has rolled up in the United States.
“I can name the home-grown cells, all of whom are Muslim, all of whom were seeking to murder Americans,” the agent says. “It’s not the Irish, it’s not the French, it’s not the Catholics, it’s not the Protestants, it’s the Muslims.”
In response, Muslim groups have told him he is rough around the edges.
“I’m not rough around the edges,” he tells them. “You’re just not used to straight talk.”
They respond by getting angry at him.
Although Muslims occasionally condemn al-Qaida, “Rarely do we have them coming to us and saying, ‘There are three guys in the community that we’re very concerned about,’” one agent says. “They want to fix it inside the community. They’re a closed group, a very, very closed group. It’s part of their culture that they want to settle the problem within their own communities. They’ve actually said that to us, which I then go crazy over.”
On the one hand, “They don’t want anyone to know they have extremists in their community,” the agent says. “Well, beautiful. Except do you read the newspapers? Everyone already knows it. That horse has left the barn. So there’s a lot of talk about engagement, but realistically, we’ve got a long, long way to go.”
At one meeting, a Muslim group suggested having a photo taken of its members with FBI Director Robert Mueller to show their community isn’t a bunch of terrorists and that they are partners in the war on terror.
An agent replied, “Let me make a suggestion: When you bring to my attention real extremists who are here to plan and do something, who are here supporting terrorism, and I work that based on your information, then I promise you, I will have the director stand up on the stage with you.”
To the agent’s amazement, the answer was: “That could never happen. We would lose our constituency. We could never admit to bringing someone to the FBI.”
“Well, we’ve just defined the problem, haven’t we?” the agent told them.
To be sure, some individual Muslims have brought leads to the FBI. That led to FBI cases in Lackawanna, N.Y.; Lodi, Calif.; and Atlanta. But the FBI has found that imams and other community leaders are reluctant to do that.
If the news media filmed imams preaching hated of America in mosques that are public, the number of imams publicly espousing jihad would dwindle to close to zero. Until that happens, Americans must learn to distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys.
“In recent years, U.S. soldiers have fought a common enemy on behalf of and often alongside Muslims in Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Somalia, and elsewhere,” the Wall Street Journal pointed out in an editorial. “The U.S. is fighting a sworn enemy today, just as in World War II American Germans, Italians and Japanese fought sworn U.S. enemies of the same race and religion. Many American Muslims will do the same if we stay focused on the real enemy, and show we have the will to do what’s necessary to find them and stop them.”

The religious groups, I will simply chalk up as irrelevant.
But the union and business groups on the list that are so obviously attempting to increase their ranks and make use of cheap unskilled labor are a big problem. I consider AFL-CIO and SEUI profoundly Anti American for their stance on legalizing illegal aliens. I frankly do not comprehend how they would prostitute themselves for some extra dues and members.
I believe we need to watch this situation closely as deals were likely made to buy support for health care in exchange for the administrations support of amnesty and card check.

I disagree with the position however that these groups are callous; if they were fully aware of the factual information surrounding unemployment, underemployment and immigration (especially the projected 1.1 billion U.S. population by 2100 if present trends continue), perhaps many of these proponants of increased immigration would change their policy recommendations?

Most of these organizations are US based arms of global entities and as such have no specific allegiance to the welfare of US citizens. Instead they consider anyone in their neighborhood as equally worthy of their empathy. In fact, many consider denying the immigrants the right to come here as harsh and unjust since their life is improved by immigration - even if it is at the cost of people who happened to be citizens by birth.
I have seen this kind of 'that's the way it is' thinking pervasive and it denies any link to a deliberate governmental policy on immigration.

Dorothy, that is a fair-minded thought. I believe that my main reason for calling them callous is that I have seen no interest of any kind from any of these organizations in getting diverse opinions about immigration policy. Most of these organizations seem so disinterested in the causes of U.S. worker suffering that when they look at immigration issues they never invite any voice that would raise connections between immigration and unemployment. Each of these organizations has a particular self-interest in having immigration numbers as high as possible. Thus, they are unwilling to hear any facts that might speak against high numbers.
Nonetheless, part of the reason why members of these organizations need to call the leaders is to shake them out of their ignorance and try to get them to look at these clear unemployment facts. Then, we will see whether these organizations have any compassion for U.S. workers or if they earn my epithet of callousness.

Our job as American citizens
Our job as American citizens who are related to any of those organizations in any way is to force them to face up to what they are doing Americans who work for a living -- or who used to.
Our job as Americans with foreign relatives (if that is the case) is to help them help themselves where they are not bring them here in violation of our obligations as citizens or legal immigrants of the United States. These organizations could be instruments of positive change family by family in the Third World if their approach changed.

With Jobless Rates Like These, How Can Anybody Consider More Foreign Workers or an Amnesty?
They are in little danger of being washed out of their jobs by the immigration flood. So, it may be easy for them to posture as global humanitarians while rolling the dice on your job.
To be fair, I can't imagine that any of these leaderships are supporting "comprehensive immigration reform" to throw Americans out of work.
They aren't that evil.
But they are that callous -- so callous that they pursue their other agendas through immigration policy and refuse to pay attention to the millions of Americans and their families who are left without a job because of it.
It doesn't matter what their intentions are, the result of their support of present immigration numbers and for legislation to increase the numbers destroys the economic lives of American workers.
Our job as American citizens who are related to any of those organizations in any way is to force them to face up to what they are doing to Americans who work for a living -- or who used to.

I just sent email to about half the organizations listed, with the same general gist of the mail similar to Valerie's excellent example.
Regardless of their reasons for supporting immigration and ignoring the plight of American workers (ignorance, callousness, etc.), pressure by enough people will sway many of them to change their positions. Most of them are quite sensitive to negative publicity.

Thank you for your concern over the NAE Resolution on Immigration. While the Anglican Mission is a member of the NAE, the Anglican Mission has not adopted the resolution as a statement of our position nor do we have any intention of doing so.

I called into the Chamber of Commerece switchboard 202-659-6000 and was transferred to a message line. As a small business owner in California I expressed my outrage over the Chamber support for "comprehensive immigration reform". Why should they support giving jobs to foreign workers! I left my city, state, and phone number. Let's see if my phone message gets returned.
My next call was to the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Louisville, KY at 502-569-5000. Press Option #1 to dial by name, and then Option #2 to dial by last name. Then key in "Tammen" and you will be connected to Rev. Marc Tammen. I got his voicemail and left my name and my local church info. I expressed my concern over Church support for "comprehensive immigration reform" and asked that he return my call.

In case anyone is interested, here is an email I sent ot the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
"I am tired of reading about the brazen support of the CHC to the cause of illegal immigration. I thought your group, made up of American citizens, and elected by American citizens of the United States, would be interested in supporting and protecting the rights of those Americans rather than people entering this country illegally.
It seems that with every fork in the road where a decision is to be made on issues involving illegal aliens, you constantly vote in favor of them ahead of the welfare of American citizens.
I was amazed when in February, you went to see Janet Napolitano to demand that raids be stopped on companies hiring illegal aliens. I thought, it would be a long time before I saw anything from your group to top that action. But just within the last week, I was again amazed and shocked when you threw your support behind providing health care for present and future illegal aliens. This came in the form of opposing the closing loopholes that exist in the health care bill that would allow illegal aliens to use provisions within that bill.
I am ashamed to refer to your group as congressmen of the United States."

Politics and Religion have never mixed well and we in America are supposed to have safe guards regarding seperation of church and state which, has never really been enforced. Both use lies to enable power and growth and this has caused so much needless suffering and Wars in the world it is remarkable they have gotten away with it for so long. Just another tool used by elitists of the world to maintain control of the masses.
When money and power become the focus of Government instead of the well being and safety of it's citizens then that government is a failure. This is presently the state of our government as anyone can plainly see, it is bankrupt morally and monitarily and without competent leadership.
Considering politics is a farce it's no wonder our government has on the flip side, turned into a worldwide joke, laughable in any belly.

Yes, we generally talk about the U-6 Unemployment Rate that the feds figure which is closing in on 20%.
But the 10.2% is the one most of the media use and is significant because it has gone above 10% for the first time in decades and includes only those who are actively looking for a job and cannot find even part-time work. So, this is the measure of the very worst part of unemployment.
We will definitely mainly be talking about the U-6 rate as you suggest.

I Imagine Church Receipts Are Way Down in 2009
So I imagine letting in a bunch of overpopulation seems pleasing to some of the brainless churches, even if their narrow minded thinking, clearly just makes it far worse.
My church apparently let its assistant pastor go recently [thank God my denomination isn't on the above list].
Many of the churches may likely go the way of many of the super malls in America, bankrupt empty buildings [IMO, commericial real estate bad loans are the next massive wave of toxic bank loans at a theater near you soon].
Its a grim forcast, but with 10.2% unemployed and easily triple that number with the % unemployed ghosts [those who's benefits ran out, but still unemployed and/or young people that can't find a first job added in too] and also add in the other 7% or so severely underemployed [forced to work for peanuts or starve], you get the picture.

Why does your church continue to lobby for importation of up to 125,000 immigrants each MONTH while the U.S unemployment rate stands at 10.2%?? It's obvious that this support is self-serving and you could care less about the impact to the nation as a whole due to job loss and massive overpopulation of our country. Groups like yours will be the demise of the U.S. as we know it. I hope your children and grand-children are ready to live with the fallout of your selfish positions. They'll live in a beehive similar to Mexico City with drastically conserved resources and widespread poverty, because the U.S. middle-class cannot continue to support the droves of impoverished, uneducated immigrants that you want to import to boost your church offerings.
Don't kid yourselves-- they know the overall impact of what they're doing, but we're living in an "every man for himself" type society where the impact to the greater good is not considered.

Every month, we get more terrible unemployment news. (Now, we hear the official unemployment rate has hit 10.2%!)
And every month, I must call on Americans to force the nation's elite leaders to answer why they insist on importing 125,000 working-age foreign citizens each month.
Below is the list of elites working against jobless Americans and their families.
If you are associated with the following groups, you need to ask your leaders to stop assaulting the unemployed Americans in their membership.
10.2% Unemployment Not High Enough -- Leaders of These Groups Want More Foreign Workers
On average, the feds are handing out first-time work permits to about 125,000 working-age foreign citizens EACH MONTH. About half of those are temporary, and about half of them are permanent work permits (green cards).
The leaders of the following groups not only approve of potentially taking 125,000 jobs away from American workers each month, they are lobbying to dramatically increase immigration numbers.
All of these groups are pushing for "comprehensive immigration reform." That means they want to give permanent work permits to around 12 million illegal aliens. It also means that they want to increase the number of legal immigrants brought in for permanent work permits by hundreds of thousands a year.
If there is a phone number by the name, feel free to call and ask why they prefer giving jobs to foreign workers instead of millions of unemployed Americans. (If we don't have a phone number by the name and you can come up with one, please provide it to us.)

Against the backdrop of high unemployment and a public revolt against a Democratic health-care bill -- which would significantly increase taxes, slash Medicare spending, and massively raise health-care spending elsewhere in a government takeover of our leading growth sector -- the Republicans swept the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races.
It's interesting that early signs of economic recovery are not helping the Obama Democrats. This is largely because of the 9.8 percent unemployment rate, which is expected to move higher. Even the crazy jobs-saved-or-created campaign is having no discernable impact while the Obamacons try to fight the unemployment rate.
If you go to recovery.gov, the official stimulus website, you'll find that there has been $207 billion in stimulus spending through Oct. 30, 2009 -- including $84 billion in tax benefits, $52 billion in contract grants and loans, and $71 billion in entitlements. So even if we give my friend Jared Bernstein his highly flawed "1 million jobs saved or created," that's $207,000 per job in an economy where the average wage is about $46,000. Not good. Wasteful and ineffectual spending. (In reality, tax credits are spending. For incentivizing, you need marginal tax-rate cuts.)
Mike Flynn of Breitbart's biggovernment.com notes that the government pumped $170 billion into the third-quarter economy. But gross domestic product grew by only $150 billion. As I said, ineffectual spending.
That doesn't meant the economy isn't rebounding. It is. Glitches and all, third-quarter GDP popped up 3.5 percent at an annual rate after inflation. Statistically, the recession is over. That's good. And it corroborates the big stock market rally over the past seven months. This is going to be a business-led recovery as self-correcting firms build profits on top of huge cash flows.
Yesterday's ISM manufacturing report for October also confirms the growth trend with a recovery reading of 55.7, the strongest since April 2006. And this morning's factory orders for September also show a stronger-than-expected gain. Even car sales are expected to rise in October by more than 10 million, at least 1 million better than September. Ford, which refused to take TARP bailout money, reported a surprise increase in profits.
But the depreciating dollar remains a storm cloud over recovery. So are scheduled tax-rate increases and health care legislation that will slam individuals and firms with higher tax burdens and higher tax costs for job creation.
And then there's the Federal Reserve. With gold up another $25 -- setting a new nominal record of $1,079 -- the Fed released a policy statement Wednesday that continues a program of massive money-pumping and a zero interest rate.
This whole Obama policy mix of huge government spending and a depreciating greenback is all wrong. It's pro-inflation, not pro-growth. For a true economic recovery, we need a stable King Dollar and lower marginal tax rates to incentivize job creation.
Jimmy Pethokoukis and others have noted that the first recovery quarter under Ronald Reagan was better than 8 percent, not 3.5 percent. In fact, the average real GDP growth rate for the first quarter of the 10 postwar recoveries is 7.3 percent.
So the economic-recovery story, and even the stock market rally, won't bail out the Obamacons today, although it remains to be seen whether a free-market, anti-tax-and-spend message will emerge from the election sweep by the GOP. If so, it could doom the so-called health care reform that has become a symbol of the leftward-tilting, big-government, economic-control policies emanating from Washington.
One year ago Barack Obama turned the political establishment upside down with a resounding national election that, according to so-called experts, spelled the end of influence and legitimacy for the GOP for years, perhaps decades to come. However, a mere 12 months later, Republicans have dramatically turned around their fortunes with two high-profile gubernatorial victories in Virginia and New Jersey -- both by comfortable margins.
In Virginia, Republicans won the top three offices (Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General) in Virginia by sweeping margins. Republican Bob McDonnell won the gubernatorial race by a shattering 17 percent margin over Democrat Creigh Deeds.
Not only did McDonnell win in the vast majority of Virginia counties, but he also won in the three largest suburban counties: Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William, which trend Democratic and which Obama won by significant margins. He also took Obama successes among independents and turned it around to win 63 percent of those voters.
And while many Democrats now point to exit polls that indicate President Obama and his policies were not the driving force behind this phenomenon, the Democratic candidate there had a different take. In an interview in October, Creigh Deeds (D) blamed, in part, the Democrats' national agenda as he trailed Bob McDonnell (R) in Virginia's gubernatorial race. "Frankly, a lot of what's going on in Washington has made it very tough," he said.
In New Jersey, Republican Chris Christie ousted incumbent Democrat Jon Corzine. The margin of victory was the largest by a New Jersey Republican in a statewide race in 25 years.
Christie was significantly outspent by Corzine, who also had the advantage of having the full support of the White House and President Obama campaigning for him regularly. The victory was a 20-point reversal of Obama's victory in 2008. Exit polls say Christie won 58 percent of independent voters.
So what does this mean for Republicans nationwide?
First, I believe that this demonstrates that after a couple of dismal cycles, Republican voters are once again energized and ready to work hard so that Republican candidates gain traction nationwide.
Next, the numbers in Virginia and New Jersey show the success Conservative candidates are having with Independents/Reagan Democrats in these key states -- setting the stage to capitalize on these gains in the 2010 mid-terms and beyond.
Lastly, I believe that moderate Democrats will have a much tougher time supporting the Progressive agenda being pushed by the White House after seeing the president fail to bolster the struggling Gov. Corzine in a state the president carried by 20 points just a year ago. Thus, Republicans must recognize this potential dynamic and taking advantage of it to pursue more moderate and acceptable policies rather than those being promoted by the president, Speaker Pelosi or Leader Reid.
Political fortunes can swing -- and swing rapidly. Just as the landscape seemed so inviting to Democrats one year ago, fortunes could once again swing back in their direction at the drop of the proverbial hat. This is especially true if Republicans fail to take advantage of the political opportunities in front of them.
It is time for Republicans to not only oppose the big government and big spending programs being proposed by national Democrats, but to also push forward their own ideas and their own agenda so that 2010 voters have a true alternative to the Democrats' increasingly unpopular path forward.
We need our Republican leaders to put forward these sound solutions for practical governance, returning power to local governments and voters. On health care, immigration and energy, conservative values offer us commonsense solutions. Even ideas that are unlikely to see much debate time under the current president will ring out in the next election, as they did last night.
2009 was just the beginning.
