This work by Burnie Craig is probably as good as any mid-Century metal sculpture one would hope to find without paying outrageous art gallery prices. Although "C. Jere" may be quite popular among Eames Era Mid-Century Modern Collectors, this Big Fish welded wire sculpture is far superior, in my opinion. "C. Jere" is fictitious...it was actually Artisan House selling under the name of superb Artist/Metal Sculptor Peter Fels after his name was sold.
The Big Fish is about 22" tall, measured from bottom of base, and 15" long. It is naturally iron patina with black lacquered wood base.
