We are a successful SEO firm, seeking a talented individual with a programming background. We need you to multi-task, serving as both a support representative, an account manager and a technical contact for clients. We need you have a strong grasp Google analytics and online marketing in general (pay per click, SEO) and also be able to relay that information clearly to our clients. You’ll handle everything from entering the client’s billing information when they sign up, setting them up in our customer management system, researching/ creating keyword spreadsheets for their account, setting up local business listings on Google / Yahoo and calling the client to give them a demo of Google analytics and how it works.
On a monthly basis we review every client’s account, which means you’ll look at their website tracking and run keyword progress reports, using our applications. You’ll also communicate with clients on-going, via phone and email, to make sure they’re satisfied with the service and their technical questions are answered (most are simple). You'll need to possess great writing skills, in order to clearly explain a situation or issue to a client. You must be able to handle a conversation when a client gets heated or is confused (although not to worry, 99% of them are happy). We’re very good about returning phone calls / emails immediately, so you must be extremely diligent when it comes to responding to inquiries and solving them quickly. Qualifications:
-Computer Science Degree or heavy experience with coding, HTML, CSS, PHP
-Strong Writing Skills
-PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST (we check all references)
-COMMUNICATE WELL
-Very fast on the computer – We’re pretty serious about this one. We need you to be able to navigate quickly…. For example, cut and paste using CTRL c/v (it can be the difference of up to an hour a day in lag time).
-Extremely Organized
-Able to follow instruction and learn quickly
-Experience with Google Analytics
-Familiar with online marketing in general (in depth knowledge of PPC and SEO)
-Quick learner
-Proficient in Excel / Word / Outlook
-Experience with sales is a plus (we’re always “Reselling” the service as the support team)
- Experience with email marketing systems a plus
-Experience with HTML / PHP coding a plus
-Experience with Photoshop / designing a plus
Compensation:
-$15/hour
