We are seeking BARBERING INSTRUCTORS FOR WESTERN BEAUTY INSTITUTE- in Lancaster & San Fernando Valley locations schedule DAYS: (Tues – Fri.) .8:30-2:30 and SATURDAY 8:30 a.m -5:00 p.m. EVENINGS: Mon,Tues, Wed. Thurs. 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m and Saturday 8:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Must have at least 2-3 yrs. work exp. in a classroom setting (proof will be req.) Must have current Barber License & correct level of education, great knowledge of the beauty school settings. Great communication skills (both written and verbal) with great ability to help others learn, good sense of humor, energetic, self-starter, professional well groomed appearance, highly skilled, very motivated, be people-oriented, great attendance, be flexible, must possess limitless patience and be a good listener. Ability to be fair, firm and friendly, have great customer service experience, organized & neat, be great team oriented player, able to work with a mutual interdisciplinary team Will perform other job related duties as required. At times assist other instructors if needed.

The instructor will be responsible for teaching and leading a diversity of students via classroom presentations writing lesson plans, instructional methodology & techniques, quickly and efficiently, and state’s sterilization procedures. Able to perform tasks within State and Federal guidelines of instruction strategies. Able to personalize classroom instruction, organize class documentation. Keep accurate student records and notes on attendance, behavior or other concerns and reports. Also other duties or assignments related to all aspects of BARBERING at our school as assigned by school Director. Please note, you must teach a 15 min. class to see your comfort level and as proof of your experience prior to being hired.
