Come and join our family! We are a 30 year old construction company that does EVERY aspect of construction. We remodel, input additions, put in pools, and even build residential and commercial structures. We are now looking to expand the family by adding a project manager to our staff.

Responsibilities:

Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of each job
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates & utilization
Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
Set & manage client expectations
Manage subcontractors by locating, evaluating, selecting as well as monitoring and controlling subcontractor performance
Plan and schedule project timelines
Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
Attend job walks and meetings as required
Bid preparation, submittals, change orders, contract documents, labor and close out documents
Protect the company by verifying that required liability and workers compensation insurance is in place at all times


Competencies:

Understand our pricing model & billing procedures
Assure project documents are completed and signed
Possess general understanding in the areas of commercial/residential remodeling & construction as well as knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and repair of structures
Ability to take projects from conceptual pricing to hard bids
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
