The ideal candidate will be outgoing, organized, motivated, able to work independently, and very detail orientated.

Core job functions include:

-Pitching op-ed columns to opinion page editors
-Researching topics for op-ed column topics and blog posts
-Booking television and radio appearances
-Editing and uploading photos for use on blog
-Editing and uploading video to YouTube for use on blog (e.g., television appearances)
-Editing an e-newsletter that is emailed to over 50,000 people per week
-Creating and distributing press releases
-Serving as the media point-of-contact
-Microsoft Word
-Internet browsing software (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
-Email software (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Mail, etc.)
Additional Experience (not required, but preferred)
-Wordpress blog software
-Adobe Photoshop
-FTP program (e.g, SmartFTP, WSFTP, etc.)
