Elderly woman with advancing alcohol-induced dementia needs a female live-in caregiver to help with ADLs, light housekeeping, errands, medication reminders, food preparation, and appointment coordination.
You will work closely with the family in ensuring the client is safe and well taken care of, with the highest quality of life possible. There will be extensive record keeping, occasional odd hours, and communication with family. The client can be very difficult at times, so we need only the most patient and understanding applicants.
As for Compensation, Caregiver will get their own entire 1 bedroom apartment in Granada Hills, (utilities included,) use of the pool and laundry, and a daily stipend. Caregiver will also receive 2 days off a week, and the possibility of working overtime as well.
We are looking for:
-Someone with excellent writing and communication skills
-Someone who is trustworthy, hardworking, and able to take initiative
-someone who can document and collaborate with other parties
-someone with experience with assistive devices, bedside commodes, specialized hygiene care
You Must have:
-A working car
-a working cell phone
-references
-clear DMV record
-clear criminal background
-ability to work in the U.S.
