Burbank based Digital Agency is looking for an HR Generalist responsible for coordinating all human resource activities. The role will oversee the following: payroll and benefits; full-cycle recruiting; and, development and enforcement of company policies.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
o Experience managing payroll (Paychex knowledge a plus)
o Benefits knowledge including: 401K, Health and dental benefits.
o Strong understanding of employee recruitment and retention.
o Some knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Recruiting experience
o Writing job descriptions and placement ads.
o Still in reviewing resume submissions and making recommendations to managers
• Strong Computer skills (MS Office, Paychex Preview payroll system)
• A Bachelor's Degree with three to three years of human resource experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
