Qualified candidates must possess strong listening, communication and organizational skills; must be computer literate, detail oriented and possess the ability to produce high quality of work in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate must be knowledgeable in the area of employee relations, legal compliance changes, current trends in human resources management etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and place employment opportunity ads, review resumes, conduct interviews, manage legal compliance, drug test, background checks, etc.
Understand and administer all legal compliance and changes with respect to existing personnel and communicate this effectively.
Leads the Company’s compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal reporting requirements, including FMLA, OSHA, EEO accordingly, and maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits.
Direct the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws. Approve all information submitted. Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.
Maintain and update all employee personnel files
Manage employee time off requests.
Communicates regularly with department upper management regarding employee issues that may arise.
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and assist with exit interviews.

Additional Requirements:

• BA/BS required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be flexible and have a positive attitude
• Team player
• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years HR experience
