Responsibilities:
We are seeking an innovative and self-motivated HR leader. Multi-faceted role requires an energetic, highly organized, technologically savvy, detailed multi-tasker with great written and oral communication skills. The candidate must have extensive generalist and employee relations experience.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will proactively maintain a positive business partner relationship and support an open door policy. Additionally, The HR Generalist will manage the administration of Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist reports to the Executive Director of Human Resources and will coordinate implementation of services, policies and programs through HR staff and assist and advise company managers about Human Resources issues.
The HR Generalist is responsible for all or part of the following areas:
• Recruiting and staffing logistics
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities and other recruitment sources
• Performance management and improvement systems
• Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
• New hire employee orientation
• Policy development and documentation
• Employee relations and investigations
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
• Organizational and space planning
• Exit interviews
• Pro-actively evaluate HR metrics and make recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness

Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years related experience in the following areas required:
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state labor and employment laws
• Experience with employee relations, diversity, labor law, compensation, talent acquisition, benefits, Workers Compensation, COBRA, and performance management
• Experience working in an Internet or Technology company
• Proven ability to work and be successful in a fast paced Human Resources environment
• Efficient use of internet and traditional recruitment methodology
• Recommends tools, processes, and programs that support the business needs of business partners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet recruiting/applicant tracking tools and systems such as PCR
• Ability to manage sensitive issues in a confidential manner
• Able to work effectively with all levels of management and in a team environment
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision or other HRIS systems
