This position begins in November 2009 through April 2010. (Approx. 6 months)<br>
<br>
•	The candidate MUST have experience on processing full-cycle administration of Payroll with ADP Pay eXpert AND ezLabor timekeeping web based                 <br>
                     software and must be proficient with MS Office with high proficiency with Excel and Outlook.<br>
•	Experience and exposure to Human Resources is ideal, as this person will work very closely with the HR Department and staff.<br>
•	Must be detail oriented and have excellent organization skills.<br>
•	General knowledge of Benefits administration and garnishments (401K, FSA Accounts etc.)<br>
•	Excellent communication skills and work well in a team environment<br>
•	Have a strong background in general office administration, filing and accurate recordkeeping.<br>
<br>
General Duties:<br>
<br>
Full-cycle Payroll administration:<br>
•	Update and maintain employee information in ezLabor and ADP Pay eXpert software.<br>
•	Create and enter weekly spreadsheets detailing all payroll changes/updates into ADP.<br>
•	Review all department time cards ensuring that they are completed accurately by Monday morning deadline. Call department managers                                  <br>
                     to review all problems that arise with time cards.<br>
•	Export ezLabor time card information weekly into the ADP payroll system.<br>
•	Review payroll accuracy with audit reports produced from ADP Pay eXpert.<br>
•	Receive payroll registers on Tuesday for review and separation of pay envelopes for Wednesday<br>
•	distribution.<br>
•	Process the weekly benefit programs (401k, 457, garnishments etc)<br>
•	Download weekly accrual balances into ezLabor and move the period to the next week.<br>
•	Void checks when needed.<br>
•	Process manual checks when needed.<br>
Administration and Projects:<br>
•	Maintain and organize confidential payroll files.<br>
•	Learn the Accounts Receivable earnings entry processing for Guild and Plans.<br>
•	Answer payroll inquiries and resolve all discrepancies as they arise.<br>
•	Maintain confidentiality with all records.<br>
•	Assist employees with their payroll inquiries in a timely manner.<br>
•	Handle correspondence and inquiries with ADP and other payroll-related entities.<br>
•	Attend payroll related training sessions to enhance payroll knowledge.<br>
•	Assist Payroll Manager with any special projects as needed.<br>

Mental Health Community Development Institute (MHCDI) is a human services professional training institute. We provide short-term Career training in Social and Human Services field. Social and Human Service Work Program  leads to employment in social and human services field. That  means, one graduating from social and human services program is able to work  with children at school settings or in  various clinics,  provide home visits, or become  a case manager, parent trainer  family counselor and much more. In the 8th week of training, students start their paid internships, which become their permanent jobs. We work with a network of employers. Upon graduation of the program students will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid in any of the Social and Human services fields. The total cost of the program is $1,975 which is possible to pay with installments.  According to CA regulations there is no scholarship for a short term career training programs. It is fully the school’s (our) responsibility to set up interviews with employers, and arrange referrals to paid internships and help students to secure their jobs in various organization.  We also give to  our students multiple opportunities to make the right decision, to chose the right employer and the right organization for meeting their specific individual career goals. Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  We have a continuous enrollment since we teach with modules. It is possible to enroll in program every month.  The total duration of the program is 3 to 5 months, and before graduating students must start their employments in order to implement their classroom knowledge at work. <br>
