Ok. So you need to record a demo, album, etc. and you think you can save a ton of money by getting your own gear and doing it yourself.
Well, in theory.
But if you don't know what you're doing it's still not going to sound professional. Not to mention the time it's going to take you to set up, learn it and even start to get good at it. By the way, a decent professional vocal microphone starts around $800.
Do yourself a favor and let a professional handle it. For only $20 an hour you can get a beautiful, top quality recording. If you're really interested in learning I'm happy to teach you in the process. You can't lose, my rates are even cheaper than Protools class!
You simply will not find a better deal for the professional quality recording you need.
