An entertainment Non-Profit in Sherman Oaks seeks a PR intern to help with the many tasks pertaining to the PR for the organization.
Job Details:
- Assist with the organization's events
- Drafting and writing press releases
- Helping maintain our many social networks
- Helping secure media partners for events
- Helping Create Press Kit
- Helping create and update organization’s collateral materials.
We need a savvy intern, with experience or classes in PR. A strong knowledge of social networking is a plus.
Other Requirements include:
- Be punctual and dependable
- Have reliable transportation (doing errands will be a part of the job)
- Must be able to work 2-3 days a week (must include availability in your response email).
- Have a strong work ethic – we need to know that when you take on a task that it will be completed.
- Work well with deadlines – we need people committed to their work and our timelines.
- Have an interest in working PR at a non-profit organization – we want someone that wants to be here. We like to share our experience with the interns that work here and are happy to give as much responsibility to you as we feel you can handle.
- Take direction well.
