Animal shelters are being flooded with unweaned kittens... kittens that can't survive without a nursing mother or human intervention.
April is the beginning of the kitty-boom, which lasts through September.
All over Southern California, shelters are asking for the publics help in adopting the little kitties.
LA County also needs volunteers to be foster parents each one needs to be bottle feed every 2 hours.
