info need on adopting a rabbit from the pound

alright i want to adopt a female rabbit from east valley shelter for a companion to my male rabbit jack and i want to know which female to get should i bring him with me to let him choose or just get a female and see what happens when i get home can i even take him to the pound with me to see which one to he wants or what any info would be welcome thanks
