Our client, is a video and audio conferencing solutions provider in the San Fernando Valley. They are looking for a strong, polished, and sophisticated major accounts salesperson to uncover and develop a wide variety of opportunities. They have been profitably providing clients with tailored conferencing & communication solutions since 1985.
You must be able to tap into different industries, discover opportunities, get to the decision makers, manage a well defined sales process and close the sale within a 2 – 3 month cycle. You need to be comfortable selling products or services over $200,000 each, and at price points typically higher than the competition. You will have to demonstrate to us an ability to create and execute specific sales plans to penetrate targeted accounts. We also need to see that you thrive in a competitive marketplace wherein you are the more expensive option, and you are relatively unknown.
Specific industry experience is not required, but the wherewithal to learn and then speak intelligently about technology implementation is. You will have to demonstrate to us that you can connect with people with P & L responsibility, and mid level managers. If we think you can do the job, you will be paid a $4 - 5K/mo draw against a tiered commission structure that will enable you to earn another $20K at plan your first year. Second year, at plan, you will make $125K, and third year $180K. This business has a big reorder component to it, so as you build your clientele you will be generating residual income for yourself! Full benefits package. We will ask for W-2s or other verification that you have made this kind of $ before.
A lot of sales support will be provided. You will need to learn and execute the Sandler selling system for which you will receive extensive training. Some marketing support will be provided but you will have to be resourceful enough to find new opportunities and applications for their solution products and services.
