Woodland Hills- based computer consulting is looking for on-call technicians to help with a growing number of tech support calls. We are a new, but fast-growing company focusing primarily in remote technical support. However we need technicians to handle our on-site support calls on an on-call basis. We are a 24/7 company, so we need people who are able to work weekends and nights, if needed. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to make extra money on the weekends as well. You must be a Microsoft Certified Professional or better. Prefer Small Business Service Specialist Certification.
Primary Responsibilities: (all work will be done at costumer sites)
Software and hardware troubleshooting and repair
Installation of Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 onto workstations
Virus, Spyware, Adware, and Malware removal and repair
Installation and removal of applications on computers
Print Server installation and configuration
Onsite implementation of workstations, servers, and other network products
Support Windows 2000-2008 server and Exchange (SBS) environments
Some sales and recommendations of upgrades
Required Technical Experience:
Must be a Microsoft Certified Professional or better
2+ years experience providing remote or onsite tech support
Well versed in all Microsoft Operating Systems and Major Microsoft software programs
Strong proficiency in Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition 8.6 10.0, Symantic Antivirus, and NT Backup
General knowledge of spam filtering applications
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Linksys wireless products
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Networks

Compensation: $20- $35/hr depending on experience (on call- not a full-time position)
Remote Technicians also needed.
