California Ravelco is the exclusive distributor for the Ravelco Anti-Theft Device in California. Over 3,500,000 Ravelcos have been sold worldwide since 1976, and not once has a vehicle been stolen by bypassing the Ravelco. Our business is AUTO THEFT PREVENTION. We are not in the business of plugging in accessories. Our installers are creative and thoughtful. We are looking for installers who take pride in their work, and have the mindset and desire to prevent auto theft.

California Ravelco has a new relationship with The Auto Club and is expanding its business and is looking for installers and mechanics capable of installing the Ravelco Anti-Theft Device in cars and trucks. We are actively looking for friendly professionals who are more concerned about doing quality work than about doing quick installs to service Los Angeles county.

Job Description
Our mobile installers travel to customer sites and install the Ravelco Anti-Theft Device. The job requires working with electrical systems and light mechanical work. The position requires excellent customer service and electrical skills. A desire to perform work you can be proud of is a must.

The installer needs to:

• have good customer skills- polite, professional, well spoken
• have reliable transportation (car or truck)
• have experience working with cars or trucks
• be comfortable working with electrical systems, and know the basics of working safely around electricity
• know the proper methods of soldering electrical wires as butt connectors are not used in our installations.
• be quality and detail oriented and customer satisfaction focused
• provide their own tools (wrenches, sockets, wire cutters/strippers, portable soldering iron, portable drill, etc.)
• have regular computer, email, and printer access
• be competent trouble shooting problems with their work

This is not a job for beginners as experience working with cars is a requirement, however, California Ravelco will provide installation training, support and supplies. We will provide vehicle specific wires for each installation and we work very closely with our installers. Installations are done at people's homes and places of work.

This is a part time contract position. People with flexible schedules are best for this position. Installations take from 1 to 2 1/2 hours to complete. 2 hours is the average.

We only hire the best installers, based on quality, not speed. We pay by the installation; however, pay averages $40 per hour.
