General Contractor based in Sherman Oaks looking for a qualified Foreman / Superintendent that has experience in residential and/or commercial construction. Must be knowledgeable in managing small to medium-sized projects and have over 5 years experience in the industry. Great growth opportunity for the right person!
Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish / English
Field experience in the trades doing construction
Knowledge in various trades: carpentry, concrete, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.
Ability to read plans
Knowledge of general building codes and building permit process
Communication and basic computer skills – especially email
Able to schedule multiple trades, keep daily reports, worker time cards, and field change orders
Strong organizational skills – must be able to multi-task, think on your feet, and plan ahead
Honest, responsible and reliable
Self-motivated with problem solver attitude
Supervision and management skills that encourage team work, efficiency and safety
Able and willingness to not only manage work, but do work yourself
Able to present oneself in a professional, confident and knowledgeable manner to clients
Able to work within a predetermined budget
Project Management skills a PLUS
Ability to do Take offs a PLUS
Ability to complete material orders a PLUS
Previous General Contractors or License Qualifying Individuals preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Must be eligible to work in the United States, pass drug and alcohol test and background investigation
Pay $20-$26/hr DOE
